A must for F1 and Lego fans
This is a great kit and a must for F1 fans. It has a fair few parts and as described on the box it's a technical build and might not be suitable for younger Lego fans.

Takes a bit of time but is worth it, looks great!, bigger than you think.
Took me like three days after work, I think that is a reflection on me then this product. The instructions need to be followed carefully especially with the cogs lol. Was fun to build ready for the F1 season. The attention to the detail is great. Great to hang on the wall too. It’s a lot bigger than i thought so didn’t fit on my shelf. Advise having a dedicated space to build with a few bowls to separate and store the pieces while you build.

What a challenge!
Arrived on time and great packaging.Eager to start got it unpacked and was amazed by size of instruction book - it’s huge! Lots of pieces in a range of numbered package sizes. On reflection I should have spent more time sorting out the pieces onto a range of trays. Got part way through the chassis construction when I could not find a long, crucial drive shaft. After lengthy searches and checking the floor I decided it was missing. Sent an e-mail to Lego and they are in the process of sending me a replacement part in 5 to 8 working days.So, in the meantime I am collecting more trays ready for the next session once the part arrives.May seem expensive but when you open it you will be amazed with the huge number of parts and the diversity of shapes and sizes.

Fun to build!
The set is super fun to build and very big, however it is not at all like the 2022 mcl36 F1 car, more of a 22 showcar with the mcl35 livery! However a great set for f1 and McLaren fans
