Barre Black Swan Bar, Chocolate Berry, 50g (Pack of 12)

I have the worst time finding healthy vegan foods that are also quick one-handed food or to-go foods. Add that to trouble of finding something that tastes good too, and you're basically just looking at portable fruits like apples and bananas. Sometimes I get busy and need something I can just toss in my purse and eat while I push the stroller or in the car. Thank goodness I found Barre!I'm not a dancer. I'm not even an athlete, but I do work out when I can. I'm a hungry mom. With Subscribe and Save, each bar is about $1.90. The price fluctuates so you have to keep an eye on it, but that's the price at the time of my review. That's about what I'd pay for an individual bar in a grocery store check out or gas station. So I'm paying a little extra per bar compared to others because these are vegan, include mostly raw ingredients, and have low sugar and low sodium. They contain 7 grams of protein per bar so that's enough for a meal in my eyes. At 210 calories I can have one of these and a soy latte and not feel bad about myself. The bars are small but I feel full afterwards.Chocolate Berry doesn't taste like a candy bar, but it is good! And soft! I hate rock hard bars I can barely chew!I hope to find more of these on Subscribe and Save but right now I can only find Chocolate Berry. No stores around me carry these and I would love to try the other flavors.

My daughters a ballet dancer in a Company and she practically lives on them during rehearsal days....I'm the Costume Mistress for the Company and I've also eaten them during those hectic times when you can't stop for a meal...they taste wonderful!

Arrived when stated. Appropriately packaged. I've never tried this flavor, but since they're for an Easter basket, I'll have to wait. Based on the Spirulina bar, these should also be excellent.

I met Aaron at a Whole Foods demonstration. His demeanor; the fact that artists developed this; the fact that they give a portion of the proceeds back to arts education; and the fact that they had a little glass jar for demo with every ingredient in it (all real food) convinced me to try it. Terrific. It tastes wonderful--there is no chalky protein powder taste, nor does it taste like candy. More importantly, it gives me EXACTLY the amount of energy I need for a 90-120 min workout on the tennis courts. It is light yet packs sufficient protein, minerals, and omega 3 to keep my energy perfectly balanced. I love the Black Swan bar (chocolate berry).
