Maison Alhambra Leonie Eau de Parfum Spray for Women, 3.4 Ounce

I would like to start this review with expressing how skeptical I was about whether or not this dupe was going to live up to the hype. It surpassed the hype!!!!! I had to wait a bit for my "Libbra" to arrive due to delays (and I was stillll excited to give it a fair try) and I must say, LIBBRA smells e-x-a-c-t-l-y like Y Saint Laurent's...LIBRA. 100%. How do I know? I know because I OWN Libra! It is the best way to test a DUPE!!! Libbra arrived well packaged. There wasn't any leakage and nothing was broken or packed carelessly. I was stoked that the bottle was large and will last a while depending on how often I decide to use it. Immediately upon unpacking, I did... THE TEST. One wrist with YSL's "Libra" and the other with Alhambra's "Libbra". I wouldn't say this if it were not true but....●THERE IS NO DISTINGUISHABLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EITHER FRAGRANCE.● I tested to see what the dry down would be like, and if Libbra would drastically change on my skin. IT....DID....NOT. I must say I am all kinds of impressed!!!! I mean....wow! I've been eyeing and thinking of saving up to buy a bottle of YSL's but, as we all know, you have to cough up some rent money or gas money to buy it! 😆 So to find an affordable identical dupe, that I can easily buy at any time is a WIN WIN!! Let's talk about how long this lasts on the skin. Honestly, It doesn't last as long as YSL.... and NO ONE should expect it to!! This is a DUPE people. So DO NOT expect it to last just as long as the original you're paying $150 for! Okay????? It's HIGHLY unreasonable and irrational to expect that. The fact that this fragrance smells EXACTLY the same as Libra is mindblowing in itself. I can't get over it. THEY NAILED IT! So, let's be realistic about the expectations of this fragrance. YSL Libra would never have to be reapplied once I left home. It would last for the entire day. (6-8hrs) Libbra on the other hand doesn't have the same staying power as Libra, but it is DARN near CLOSE!! I never expected it to be exactly like YSL Libra in every aspect, neither should you. When I wear Libbra, I spray a good amount on all of my pressure points, and then I spray some on my coat as well because I LOVE walking by and leaving a trail of fragrance behind! Spraying a bit more allows for Libbra to have more staying power. And if you feel like you want to spray more of Libbra because you feel as if it's fading, then make yourself a little travel size vial to bring with you. It's very easy to make one for yourself at home, and re-apply during the day as you see fit. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this fragrance. I really don't. This DUPE is SO accurate, and I am SO happy I stumbled on it and decided to give it a try. So, don't even hesitate to buy it. Just buy it and be happy!😊

Smell absolutely amazing. VERY close to libre!!!!

I was so skeptical about this Maison Alhambra Leonie Eau de Parfum Spray for Women, 3.4 Ounce fragrance because everyone was saying it's the exact same as YSL Libre. I own Libre and I can confirm, it's spot on! The scent profile is amazing. The opening is fresh with that lovely lavender, mandarin, and petitgrain. As it dries down, you get the beautiful floral heart of orange blossom and jasmine, with a warm, comforting vanilla, musk, and cedarwood base. It's grown, sexy, and I've already gotten so many compliments. Honestly, the smell is a 5/5, they really nailed it. The only reason I'm giving it a 4-star instead of a 5 is the longevity. While some folks say they get 10+ hours, for me, it's more like 4-6 hours, which is still good for the price, but it don't last all day like the original. You might need to reapply if you want to leave a strong scent trail all afternoon. I'm going to try spraying it on my clothes too too see if that helps it stick around longer. Overall, its a fantastic buy if you love Libre but want a cheaper everyday option. Definetely worth the money!

Very good Essence

So an FYI to future purchasers they changed the name from Libbra to Leonie probably due to the closeness of the name to YSL Libre. We know its a dupe but that too close to the copyright YSL owns so I'm sure that is why the name changed. OK on the the good stuff. The scent is dead on Libre. That first hit or oranges and lavender. The middle accords come on within a few minutes with the increase of the lavender and the jasmine appearing as the hit of orange draws back. The dry down of the musk and cedar with the deep undercurrent of vanilla. Definitely NOT a vanilla strong scent so if you are looking for a pow of vanilla this is NOT the one. Projection and silage is low medium, you can smell it next to you but not across across the room. I can smell it on my top with just 2 pumps of the atomizer for a good 6 hours. I think if I let it sit a good 6mo it will strengthen to a nice daily scent. For me its a 4 season daily wear scent. Clean and classic.

It is a great dupe! A little stronger in fragance

Compré esta fragancia para regalársela a mi suegra de navidad y le encantó desde el primer momento. Había probado anteriormente YSL Libre y, en mi percepción, Léonie tiene un aroma muy parecido, especialmente por ese carácter floral, elegante y sofisticado. La principal diferencia que he notado está en la duración, ya que no permanece tanto tiempo como YSL Libre. Aun así, por su precio, me parece una alternativa con una excelente relación calidad-precio. Tiene un aroma femenino y maduro, ideal para quienes disfrutan las fragancias elegantes y con presencia. Mi suegra quedó enamorada y suele reservarla para ocasiones especiales. Sin duda, fue un regalo muy acertado.
