TropiClean Max Strength Flea and Tick Shampoo Treatment for Dogs, 20oz

We found some stray puppies with ticks. We tested this shampoo. It kills on contact. We put a tiny drop of shampoo in 2 fluid ounces of water, Shook it up and dropped a live tick in it, it died within a few seconds. It smells really good, not as toxic as some other shampoos. Easy to use. No real side effects as it's all natural. Just use as direct, wet the dog, lather them up and keep the foam on them for 5-7 minutes.

I’ve been using this shampoo for close to a decade. It was first recommended by a local pet store owner when we liven in the rural mountains and my golden retriever got fleas from being too close to a deer. I literally watched the fleas fall off and go down the drain when using this shampoo on her. We have never used flea and tick preventatives since and only use this shampoo. We currently have a 1 year old golden retriever and even though we now live in the city we often go hiking, she gets a bath in this shampoo the week before the hike and when we get home from the hike. We have never had any issues with tick or fleas and I would go so far as to say it keeps mosquitoes at bay. Since this shampoo relies heavily on essential oils it has a strong scent. I happen to like it but not everyone may.

This shampoo leaves my dog's smelling like they just left a tropical spa!! Their coats looks and feel so soft. I was hesitant at first because I have tried so many "flea shampoos", but this product is worth every cent. Will definitely be buying again and again.

Smells good on my dogs after bath. Doesn’t kill fleas real good but it kills a little. Love the smell and how it makes my dogs smell good though. No irritation to dogs skin. Soft hair.

This shampoo doesn't seem to be as effective as other natural flea and tick shampoos I've tried. It lathers up nice and smells good, so as a shampoo, I have no complaints. It doesn't cause any irritation to my dogs, so that's good. But even after leaving it on for five minutes, I still can find a couple of live fleas crawling around on my dogs. Previous natural shampoos I've tried in the past would work if you really kept them on for five minutes (which I know is hard with some dogs). I'll use it up, but I'll go back to a previous brand when this bottle is done. I bought it because it was cheaper than other brands and I was hoping it would work, but if it doesn't kill fleas, then it's not worth it even at a cheaper price.

I love this brand for my dogs! I use this specifically during flea/tick season. I have stopped using poison and i cant say how happy i am! This is all natural and it works great not only that it also smells so nice sort of like citronella. I haven’t seen any bugs on my dogs since i started using it. So happy to find it on AMAZON and i will definitely repurchase…

The doggie daycare Tails of Hawaii, was using this, we tried it and it seems to work really well, just remember to shake the bottle well before using, that might be why others say it doesn't work/smell good. Hawaii has no winter so fleas are year round and populate like, well, fleas, and for a while we had a huge problem! The cat would bring them into the house and the dogs would naturally pick them while out for our walks. This shampoo can NOT be used on the cat, (but I use Wondercide Flea and Tick and Mosquito Control Spray for Cats Dogs and Home - Lemongrass - 16 oz on her -spray on washcloth, wipe over her, to repel) All get yeast tablets daily, and dogs get the spray too (same application and lemongrass smells nice). We are winning over the fleas! Going the natural way since over time, they didn't have good reactions to the drops and pills. Would you want to ingest or be dosed with poison every month? Nah, I don't think so, so why do it to your beloved pets? Don't find any ticks on them, any yes, they ARE here in Hawaii too - just ask my daughter that found one between her toes once - after sitting right outside my front door in the grass! She totally freaked out! Thought she was dying or so badly injured cause she was screeching so loudly! Lucky for her it really hadn't attached itself firmly yet so wasn't hard to remove, but really! Girls! What drama! The shampoo lathers up easily. I usually give two lather-ups, once with one of the bar soaps like Wondercide Natural Flea & Tick Shampoo Bar for Dogs & Cats to Kill & Repel Fleas 4oz Bar and then with this shampoo. Between the two products, I don't have as much of a problem as I did when using just the drops/pills monthly. I can't prevent the populations outside hitching a ride if they really have it set to do so, but at least I can combat the problem once we are inside. (most fleas that I do notice once we come inside from a walk, are not happy resting which is how it's easy to see them. I figure they must not like the products it they are too busy actively moving around) Hate to say but with Climate Change/Global Warming a fact now, you know it's going to get harder to keep fleas and ticks a bay. But I do suggest you give this a valid trial because Monsanto is already poisoning our Planet, no need to help by poisoning your pets and ultimately yourself in the process. Save the bees.
