This is NOT a Novelty Item!
How is it that this uke is described as a "novelty" uke? Yes, the shape is unusual, the sound is a bit too bright and construction is less than perfect. But for the price this is a kick-rear uke! Action is great, too. I've owned/sold many ukes, and this one is a keeper just for the fact that is funky, sounds and plays great, and I can take anywhere without worries of damaging it. Highly recommended!

I love this guy. He sounds great and plays great. Unbelievably low price. It's my camping uke for it fits the atmosphere of the outdoors I think.

It's a nice uke, a little smaller than my other tenor, it had a clear plastic film on the front and back that I originally thought was the finish peeling off.
