The material of the slip cover is super breathable and not hot. I have been sleeping hot lately. I got the slate blue color and it’s true to color. It holds up its shape after you sleep in it all night. It is just the right firmness, not too firm but not too squishy. I completely recommend this to anyone with round ligament pain like I have been having and pelvic discomfort. I really like the long U-shape design. It lets me use my own pillow for my head while the sides support my legs. On days when I needed to elevate my head to help with acid reflux, I could flip it into an upside-down U, which worked really well. It’s not very firm and doesn’t have that memory foam feel you get with more premium pillows, but I actually prefer it this way since it’s softer and more comfortable for me. One downside is that I didn’t notice much of a “cooling” effect. Another is the price. It feels a bit expensive for what it offers, but overall it still did its job well.
