Best nightlights for cruise ship cabins, since the walls and doors are mostly metal.
If anyone is looking for nightlights for a cruise, these are awesome! We took them on our last cruise and put one in the bedroom and one in the restroom. Our bathroom on the Beyond had two separate rooms, one had the tub/shower and a large sink (it had a built in night light in the vanity), the other room was just the toilet and a small sink (no nightlight). These are magnetic so they stick on the ships walls and doors, they have two brightness setting, it has dusk to dawn or motion sensor, and they are rechargeable. They really worked well. I’m bringing them again on our next cruise. FYI - I charged them before the cruise and they lasted the entire 11 nights, and are still going on that single charge.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I set one of these little lights on my night table and stuck one on the mirror in the bathroom. When I get up during the night, the one next to my bed comes on and lights my way until I reach the bathroom door. Then the little light in the bathroom comes on. No more fumbling for a flashlight or turning on a bright bed lamp. I am completely satisfied with this handy and convenient little light.

Absolutely perfect for my requirements
I've never felt so enthusiastic about a lighting product, but I love these lights!I wanted a battery-powered night light, ideally motion activated, so kids going to the bathroom during the night didn't have to dazzle themselves with room lights.I paid £17.99 for the 2 pack of these and, whilst there were cheaper options on Amazon, I was impressed by the reviews and now I'm pleased to be adding to them!I've had these lights for about 9 months now and cannot find fault with them at all. They are really nicely designed, very well made, feel great quality, have very effective motion sensors, can be set to be either permanently on or motion-activated, have 2 brightness settings, and incredible endurance on a charge. They're small and highly portable, with a magnet on their rear. I've not stuck the supplied adhesive metal base plates up, I just stand one light on a landing table and the other is magnetically attached to a metal cabinet in the bathroom. They charge using a standard USB to microUSB cable (one is supplied) and a small red light is visible on the front when charging, as shown in my photo. The red light goes off when fully charged. Charging is quick and lasts for ages - certainly weeks, possibly months. I tend to charge every month or so and haven't ever had them run out so can't be sure.In my photo I've shown one of these lights next to a 10p coin to illustrate its size. Smaller than I originally expected, this is no disadvantage, and makes them incredibly portable when travelling.I've occasionally used these as kids' night lights, switched permanently on all night, and they can handle that too.I can't recommend these highly enough. They really deserve all the great reviews here.

Great little lights
These were purchased after another brand did not work out so well for us. As others have noted, they are small. But they put out plenty of light. We are using them in a shared bathroom where turning on the main lights would be a problem. The adjustable brightness works well -- we use them on the lower setting and it's just right for a night light. The color is soft white, not the glaring blueish-white of some LEDs. The motion detection is quite sensitive -- they will detect motion at 8 to 10 feet even off to the side. They stay on for 20 seconds with no activity, but will re-trigger and continue to stay on if there is any motion in their detection zone. Other lights did not do this.Another reviewer complained about a failed charge cable and thought it was proprietary. It's not -- it is a standard micro-USB cable. The battery life seems quite good so far -- over a month on the first charge. The magnetic mount is nice. Only minor complain is they will turn on (or stay on) if there is what I would consider adequate ambient lighting. I was initially concerned that might needlessly reduce battery life, but so far it's not a problem. Can't comment yet on long-term battery or other life. Will update if it's a problem. Overall: Recommended.Update 10/30/23: I used one of these lights on the Auto-On mode for well over a month without recharging. Out of curiosity, I charged both and set one to the On position, with the intensity switch in the lower light position, i.e. on continuously. After 4 days of continuous use, that light was starting to be noticeably dimmer than the unused light, but it was still more than adequate to provide some illumination in a dark bathroom or hallway. That's 96 hours of continuous lighting on one charge (on low light setting) -- and still going, like the Energizer Bunny. Pretty impressive. In addition to being very good night lights, I have found that they come in handy when working in tight spaces -- under a dashboard, in an engine compartment, in a refrigerator (don't ask...). The magnetic mount lets you position them easily, on the high setting they are relatively bright, and will often fit where other lights won't. Now that I know they will last for hours, it is kind of fun finding new uses for these. Definitely recommended.
