Another really solid and functional Tombow product! 😃
This is a dual-action pencil, whereby the lead can be advanced, either by pressing the shirt pocket-clip or shaking the whole pencil. Also, another plus is the screw-advance (larger) eraser system, which I’ve come to pretty well expect for these style of pencils. I was able to load a maximum of 8 pieces of lead when the pencil was empty. I more-prefer 12, which is a whole Pentel-tube, but 8 is fine. I use 2H-lead which gives you great ‘mileage’ per click and stick! I had to take notes so fiercely in college, that HB both ran out too-soon and was prone to repeated-breakage. For disassembly, the front metal lead-guide unscrews, but other parts of the pencil look to have been pressed together using a detent/snap design; I didn’t want to use the needed force however, to confirm that design! Finally, the feel is excellent (with no rough, or mis-registered edges) and seems to naturally lend itself to cursive writing, which is difficult with some of the other mechanical pencils; thus, especially making cursive notes faster and more readable. The only minus (but this is with all of the ‘shaker’ types) is the lead advance increment-amount, is a bit much if any lead is already protruding out the end lead-guide. But they all seem to do this, so no missing stars. I’ve really come to like Tombow products for their innovative design and precision manufacturing, even in a lower-tier item; so they represent a solid value for the money. I cannot imagine, you being disappointed by purchasing this Monograph pencil ✏️

best pencil ever!!!
it has a soft grip at the very front of the pencil, and its super easy to hold. i love the size of it: its probably about 1.5 cm thick, which is a little thicker than most pencils and i feel it allows me more precision when writing. it also feels super sturdy! so far, i havent noticed any issues with smearing. it writes so cleanly and i love that it uses 0.5 lead. refills are also super easy. its very similar to your run of the mill mechanical pencil, except that since the eraser is a twist kind, you pop off the entire back part. dont do more than 4 lead pieces at a time! (the directions say this, but its in japanese so its easier for me to translate it here :)

Great pencil
This pencil has amazing quality, durability and is very lightweight and is the whole package. The colors that they have are interesting but the comfort and the way that they write are beautiful

You can't go wrong with Tombow
Tombow is one of my most favorite brands of higher end mechanical pencils. In the pictures you can see the one that i bought and have used consistently for FOUR (4) YEARS! They take a beating and keep running. This is through the barrel being bent, and half melted in the sun, the dispenser (the skinny type at the bottom) being broke. The standard tombow pattern is my old one, the one on the right is the new one (the one in this listing) The comfort of the pen can be adjusted, especially as you get used to the hard barrel. For some people i can be hard to transition from the grippy section of typical mechnical pencils but I eventually did. The ONLY time I had discomfort was when i was doing a bunch of writing for a cram session (about 6 hours consistently, no breaks). Despite being being without rubber the grip is great, it hardly ever slides out of the hand unless you're really flinging that boy around. Write spread is incredible, though for my heavy handed folks you might want to look for tougher and darker lead than the standard HB that comes in it. Its easy to use, the shaking method can be locked but then so is the handle dispenser. after you first time changing erasers, or lead, you can do it with you eyes closed

Ampliamente recomendado.
