I 'm a big fan of Ryobi
Start with one tool or get a big kit. I have been using Ryobi tools for many years and have only worn out one drill that I had to replace. Best advice get spare batteries and extra charger the higher the amp hour the better.

Came quick and great improvement.
Had my old Riobi tools for years, and went through many batteries. When the new ion batteries came out there was a caution concerning the old chargers.. I finally got tired of the run time on the old nickle cad, not counting the memory time loss on charging, and took a chance with these. What a wonderful change., and the dual charger allows, not only the two new ion batteries to charge, but the ONE nickel Cadmium I have that still has recharge capability can be charged as a reserve as well.. Glad I took the plunge.
