Patio Pet Life Pet Potty Tray, Large

I like the company and I like the concept. Unfortunately my 50 pound puppy needs more circling and walking to poop than this allows. And it was awkward for him to step up and down off the raised box as he moved around. ... The company was good to let me return it, but it cost me $56 UPS ground to return it!

Works great with the 2’ x 2’ hydroponically grown grass (real grass) from Porchpotty.com. I actually like it better than the container from There. I did put a snap together plastic grate in the bottom to sit the grass on to improve draining. Works great and is the perfect height for my young puppy. Have already suggested my cousin order one for her adult toy dog to convert him to the grass vs pads so that he has a larger area to use and doesn’t have the mess, smell or destroying the pads.

I used this large tray to make an indoor/porch dog potty using training pads as the base layer, drydeck rubber floor squares as a draining layer between turf and pads, and a roll of realistic faux grass (durable and non-toxic with good drainage) for the top layer. The tray is large enough to accommodate my 45lb heeler and my 8lb toy fox terrier for a full day with two large potty pads in the base. The tray does seem to sag slightly when my heeler gets in but not enough to be a concern. For a larger dog you could probably center a small block of wood under the tray to fix the problem. Over all the tray looks great and I am very happy with my purchase.

Works great. Drilled a hole in the bottom so I can rinse and drain into a garden drain. Seems quite thin and at the same time very strong. I use artificial turf in mine (hence the drain).

It is a nice looking and sturdy tray. The cost was high, but it will certainly last. I like that the bottom of the tray has little "legs" so it does not sit directly on the ground. Grass fits in it perfectly and looks good.

I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor and have 2 small dogs. I put a doggy door insert into the sliding glass door for easy in and out for my doggos. I first tried puppy pads and that turned smelly very fast! I next tried dog litter and that was ok but got messy. I got this system and it works great. My dogs took to it very fast and best yet it's not smelly!! If you go to the companies website you can "subscribe" to monthly grass deliveries. They provide awesome customer service!

It’s great ... picture is after a week from delivery . Still very green & fresh but my 6 year old German Shepherd won’t use it . He just sits or lays down on it . We recently adopted him and are not experienced with dogs so there is probably a way to teach him . We won’t be replacing the grass but concept is perfect and high quality . Very happy with product . Grass Matt is thick and grass was alive & green

This is great, EXCEPT that if you use it out on your patio (as the name implies), when it rains it gets so water logged, you have to either carry it somewhere to drain it or dump it over the side or...it’s unsavory any which way. Plus your pup will not want to go in it and get sopping wet feet when he wants to pee. OR, he will go sit in it and then he is covered with pee/rain marinade. Ugh. Wish they would add a drainage hose or tray system like the competitor product. As it is, I am out $114 and I’m going to end up getting the other guys’ product.
