This one is awesome. Buy this one. The tool lock works great!! The tool lock does not work as well if you buy the sog micro tool combo pack. I have both.

Walmart used to sell a similar item that was larger, but I haven't seen one there in years. I asked on a multi-tool forum if anyone has seen anything like it for sale, and I was told about this. It is a little more than an inch shorter than the ones walmart used to sell, but it is constructed better and sturdier. It will always be in my pocket as I do day-to-day work on my 18-acre farm. If it was the same length as the ones Walmart used to sell, I would have given it 5 stars. Maybe 5-1/2 stars, were that possible.

It's nice and compact with right mix of tools, BUT one critical miss is that there is no liner lock for the knife! What a bummer, I wanted to like this because it's just the right size and weight for a basic multi-tool. Without a liner lock, it's just not worth it.

Gave this one star in the “giftable” category, just for asking such a stupid question. If someone gave me one I would say “thank you” and mean it. If I gave someone this, and they tossed it on the ground and walked off, I would pick it up and gift myself with it. So yeah, in that sense, it is giftable. Otherwise a nice little multi-tool. Someone mentioned it pinched fingers. I haven’t found that to be the case. It isn’t a full size tool, but for its size it is useful and of decent quality. Glad I bought it.

I bought this because it was on sale, so the price was good. I am very disappointed with the locking mechanism to lock down the plyer handle. It's a small pin you have to slide forward. It doesn't seem to hold very well, and I've noticed numerous times where the pin has slide back and the plyer handle has opened on its own. Considering the competition this just struck me as a very poor design. And considering this is a SOG product, I expected more. It's a fine gift, but if this is a product you use with any frequency, I would not recommend this at all.

Love everything about this tool. Everything functions with Percision. I’ve been wearing this inside my pocket of my pants for the past two days. I just want to know one thing. Is the lock lever that keeps the pliers closed supposed to click to lock and unlock or just slide The way it does right now? I just think it would be better with a clicking lock so it would stay shut in my pocket.

Let me preface this review by saying that I've own many SOG knives over the years and I have found them all to be very high quality and very well designed. However, given the really affordable price, my expectations were not nearly so high. Regardless, I was blown away by how bad this knife is. First of all, the philips head screwdriver cannot be used because the knife itself extends further than the screw driver. Its just not usable. Secondly, the philips head screw driver servers as the handle for the pliers. It locks in next to the handle when not in use, however, the locking mechanism is very loose and it will immediately and constantly come unlocked; it will do this in your pocket, while trying to use the other tools or simply just shaking it gently. However, the knife and other tools don't suffer any suck problem. In fact, the action on them is so tight you'll need another multi-tool to get them out.Like I said, for such a low price, I didn't have high expectations, but even then, I can't recommend paying any amount of money for this knife. Conclusion: Pay more for an actually functional multi-tool.

This is a very gnarly EDC multi. But first a bit of the backstory. When I received my knife I tested all the all of the screws for tightness. In doing so, I seem to have stripped the screw head that holds the lanyard. I wrote to the company & asked them to send me a couple of screws. Instead they send me new knife.
