Not as advertised
I bought this because it said it was a guided journal with space and prompts for reflection. This is really more of a book. There are only 10 pages out of the whole thing that are for guided writing out of a 100+ page book. I feel the description was very misleading because it's advertised as a journal and shows pictures of people writing in it. Even as a book it's not worth the price. Most pages only have writing on 1/4 to 1/2 the page and the rest is pictures.

An Artistic Psychotherapist in My Pocket
Just got this book today, after an uncharacteristically long wait. A London publisher and likely no American distribution. I had discovered it in a book store in Dublin, and remembered it after my trip to order it through Amazon. Anyway, I think it's worth the wait. I have been paging through it and am finding that MANY of its pages seem to be directed at me. I have social phobias and anxieties; and a desire to change, as long as I don't have to change. The Change Paradox. The book goes into that and many more issues. It's like having a psychotherapist in my pocket. I love how it has lots of space for making notes and the many illustrations and quotes that add pizzazz. The heavy stock cover should make the book last for a while too. Looking forward to using it as a journal in the coming days, weeks, months. I anticipate making some changes, and not just in the area of anxiety.

Not worth the buy/not happy with purchase
I bought this thinking it would help or atleast be decent but honestly it’s not worth it, has very little writing and too many drawings in it, some pages are pretty much blank other then some drawings and there are a few things in this book that made me feel even more like crap about myself.. I don’t recommend buying this, not happy with purchase...

Not what I expected. It’s not really a journal.
Not really a journal. More of a book of quotes and advice. It’s cute but I wanted a journal. There’s lots of space to draw and color but it’s not very interactive. Also a lot of wasted pages where pages are completely blue behind every quote. I’m sure it’s great for some but I was expecting more of a journal with things to call my anxiety

SIMPLY...the... BEST!
This is an absolutely amazing book! It is filled with a wealth of information and is written in a way that helps a person feel they are working one on one with the author. Having dealt with lifelong anxiety, and also being familiar with some of these tips through my own experiences, I was delighted to be validated and reminded of my own personal journey with my not so best friend anxiety. This book is well put together and allows you plenty of space to journal in the book if you so desire. As I continue to make changes, I have decided to use a separate small notebook to journal in but choose to keep this book with me at all times as to document and remind myself of my intentions, goals, and desires. That being said, I do appreciate the opportunity to journal in the book if I so choose. Thank you so very much to the author all the way in the UK for sharing her gifts of writing on this very sensitive and challenging topic. I feel humanized again. I’m truly grateful and ever so appreciative.

A Book That Understands Anxiety
Use this book like a mini-vacation. Have it in your car, on your desk, or beside your bed. It is perfect to open up (choose any page) and read it. It is designed for you to read and reread its pages. Even if it is for five minutes, as long as you are really reading and not thinking about a million other things in those five minutes, you will appreciate the extra inch of mental space this book creates.

Helpful
Before I go to bed, I read a page or two. The book is designed to help you see causes of anxiety without personal stories of the author and without dry jargon and therapy-talk. I feel like a friend is talking to me giving me permission to stop being so hard on myself and to get out of bad mental habits.

this is cute but
thats sort of it. it has some basic feel good quotes and breathing exercises and tips in it to help. I think it is very pretty I had hoped it would be more helpful. kind of basic to be honest.

Half empty book, hardly a "journal"
Disappointed. The "journal" in the name was misleading. I was expecting it to have more exercises or exercise ideas for easing the anxiety. A lot of the pages are half empty cause often there is just one quote, then next page would be empty or with small illustration. Advice is pretty generic, like:if you have a panic attack breath and count to 10. I think everybody knows that. Later in the book there are a few pages with exercises but for me, not enough for something named "journal". All in all pretty disappointing mostly cause there's not enough content.

My mum has had severe anxiety for a number of years, I bought her this book as a gift and she can’t put it down! She absolutely loves that its so relatable and feels like she can put her thoughts on to paper to express herself properly. Money well spent!

Disappointing
Maybe I misunderstood, but I saw this as a tool to use journaling as a way to help with anxiety. I expected questions to ponder and write about, but instead it's just a book of thoughts. I bought kindle but I can imagine the physical book is beautiful, but not at all what I was hoping for.
