We ordered a matching RuffleButts swimming suit and hat. My husband and I watched RuffleButts on Shark Tank and we were very excited to try the products ourselves. Our daughter is 12 months old and wears 12-18 month size clothing. The hat that we purchased for her was listed as a 12-24 month hat. According to our pediatrician, our daughter's head is in the 48th percentile, which shows that her head is right about average size. We ordered the hat in February as a birthday gift for our little girl. She just recently opened the hat and tried it on. The hat barely covers the top of her head. It will not stay on her head and I have already missed the date to return this item. The hat itself is cute, but the sizing for the product is way off. I would strongly suggest ordering the hat in the size bracket above what you would normally need. Great looking product, you just have to know the ins and outs of the different sizes....

My daughter is 3 months old. I’ve had a hard time finding a sun hat that would fit her tiny head but also grow with her for the summer months. I was pleasantly surprised with this hat. It’s size adjustment strap is perfect. The coverage is great and it’s super light weight. I bought two and can’t wait to use them more as the weather gets warmer!

I LOVE this hat. I have had others and this is far superior. One thing that’s NECESSARY that this hat has and others don’t is the string to tie it under their neck so it doesn’t blow off. The other thing it has is an adjustment on the actual hat to give it a good fit. Also, the brim of the hat is big enough that it provides excellent sun protection, but doesn’t get in their face. It’s really perfect, and since we try not to use sunscreen unless absolutely necessary, this hat was very helpful in preventing sun burn. I highly recommend it!

I bought a size bigger than I needed since it has a draw string and I am so happy I did! This will last us quite some time being able to make it bigger and smaller. Very light weight and baby didn’t seem to mind it. Would purchase again!

We have two hats, one for each of our 2 1/2 year old and 4 1/2 year old children. We purchased the same size for them and they fit very well. They also stay on very well because of the strings. They fold up very well and flat to fit in the pocket behind our car seats, in a backpack or in a stroller. They’d even fit in your pocket! The brims are far enough out to protect our daughters entire faces from the sun. They are comfortable to wear, both children love them! I’d buy these again.

We love this hat overall but it does fit a little small. Our little ones head has been smack dab in the middle of the percentiles since birth but she still outgrew the hat around 5 months. It’s well made though and does a good job of providing sun protection!

I love that it had a wide sun shading brim, adjustable toggle on the crown of the head for as she grows, made from water proof like light weight material so I'm the rain or getting splashed it won't bet soaked quickly. She liked it and didn't try removing it like other hats. I'm going to buy more colors
