The Beans came in a air sealed bag in fresh and plump condition. Fragrant Yes. So glad I took a chance on this company for the Madagascar Vanilla Beans. Arrived the next day just as I was making my first Homemade Vanilla Extract with other beans Tahitian from Costco that I bought last OCT. I wanted to try making 2 kinds of Vanilla Extract. One with Vodka and one in a Dark Rum. So arrival was spot on. Got them both started, and now to wait and wait. I would order from this Company again. EDIT: I am back to Re-order. First order and above review was from June 2019. Just placed my 2nd Order for these beans from the same company. First was as I stated beautiful and plump. Length was as stated. My Homemade Vanilla Extract Experience: One I didn't have quite enough Vodka so I used Everclear to fill up the jar. Well I do not like that Vanilla much at all. Maybe it will sit for 10 yrs and be ok for me. The Dark Rum was Jamaican Dark Rum and that Vanilla is super good. When I made the Vanilla, the recipe I had said to shake the Vanilla every week and I did. Also kept on a shelf in a dark Pantry. Now in the questions there is an actual Measurement for making Single Fold Vanilla. I may try that guideline on this next batch. The Chef that I listened to was Ina Garten about her vanilla. When Her stash gets about 1/2 way used She adds more Vodka. In a few months She'll add a few more Vanilla Beans. So that is what I have been doing. All is well with my Vanilla. Oh I did after about 1 1/2 years pull out a few beans and opened them up and scraped them into the Extract. I give it a shake and measure it out. This Company has GREAT VANILLA BEANS.

I used these to make my own vanilla extract from scratch and it turned out amazing. I go through almost 16 oz of vanilla extract a year so this was an investment that really paid off. I ended up with 12 8oz containers of vanilla extract and kept some and gifted the rest to family at Christmas and people thought it was neat. Keep in mind that real vanilla does not smell sweet until it is in your baked good. It smells kinda stinky but it is real vanilla and works and tastes great!

I love these. The quality is great. I use these to make my own vanilla extract. The vanilla extract smells and tastes great when it finished.

Came perfectly packaged. The beans are maybe 6 inches long. They are very moist and flexible. I can also detect the scent through the packaging. Seem like decent quality for the price. I have ordered beans several times from various places and these meet my expectations. Very satisfied with the quality and amount.

I was worried after reading the negative reviews that these wouldn't be good quality, but after reading the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance and purchased 50 because the price was good. It's true that all the beans are not plump, but some are, and the rest are skinny. However, the fragrance of the beans were strong, and each bean had enough seeds for my extract. I use ten beans each time I refresh my extract, and then I vacuum seal the rest in packs of ten so that I can use them later. I didn't have any issues of mold or unsanitary packaging. I know that these things can be a hit or miss, so I took a chance. I have had vanilla beans of extremely high quality from Sri Lanka, but they were directly flown to me by someone who visited there. Finding that kind of quality here is pretty close to impossible, so I set my expectations accordingly.

These are my first experience buying vanilla beans this way, but man I am glad i did. these are phomonimal. the smell, the flavor. they are juicy and fresh. I made some vanilla extract with them and almost instantly you could smell and taste the flavor. Compared to the other batch i made last December 2024 this batch is double strength and only in for a month. these will be my go to for fresh vanilla bean.

Okay. I was skeptical. When they came without the suction of the vac seal. I was concerned. I emailed them and within the day (the weekend mind you) they responded. They were open and helpful. The beans were good and man, they are juicy, large, and amazing for extracts. I bought another tahitian bean 4oz from Etsy and they were dry and half the size of these. The one on the right is this product. The one on the left is the other product.

I am very impressed with the quality on these vanilla beans. They are wide, oily and tender which made them easy to split. These beans are a great value. All vanilla beans have a slightly funky ammonia smell that some people can distinguish more easily than others. This does not affect the finished vanilla extract.

So fresh, delicious and fragrant. Will buy more

11/25 - Another order of Grade A organic. Madagascar vanilla beans - 51 beans, 4.8 oz. 9/25 - This pkg of 51 (I received one extra) grade A organic Madagascar vanilla beans weighed 4.5 oz. and averaged 6” long. This is my 5th order with this company, and once again they haven’t failed me.

Very good quality, packaged well and smells wonderful. I would not hesitate to purchase again
