Indian Hando Art 13 Inch Leather Vintage Cross-body Messenger Satchel Bag for Men and Women

Definitely has a strong smell. Color is very light compared to image. When first receiving I was astounded by the small size of this bag. Currently have it packed with all of my belongings and trying to get it fitted to my lifestyle hopping it stretches out a lil bit. Front pockets perfect size for my kindle e reader. Barely fits my 12.5 inch lenovo thinkpad x230t presently but the pockets seem to be opening up after a bit of time. Almost FILLED with 1 laptop 1 amazon basic note pad and stuffed my charger into one of the front pockets after tacking off the wall outlet portion of the charger. The bag does look good and the shoulder strap and front straps are like belts. This is not an easy access bag you will have to undo the two belts everytime to access your contents. Theyre not magnets like I originally thought. High hopes for this bag and for it to darken with time. Professional looking and feels decent quality.

I had a similar bag for about three years. That bag had very thin leather, and I was amazed that it lasted as long as it did. I was initially thrilled when I received this bag, which I felt more solid and seemed to be a good value. However, last week I was walking with the bag over my shoulder and the clip that holds the shoulder strap broke off. The bag wasn't overstuffed, and I had never had something like this happen with a bag in the past. The bag went flying with my computer (and a small camera) in it. Luckily, they were both OK. I wrote the seller with the thought that they would replace the bag, or at least send me a new strap. They have ignored me, hence the rating. However, if the strap didn't fall apart (or if the seller would have been honorable) I would have given the bag a higher rating (probably 4 stars).

Overall bag is made very well but does run small in size. It will hold my 13” MacBook Pro in a protective sleeve but the fit is tight. I do believe it will stretch over time since it is leather. The down side is the smell. The bag came tightly packaged in plastic wrap which causes the leather tanning not to out gas so it retains an odor. I have no problem with what leather smells like but this has a more rancid odor. Ive had this bag for about a month and have left it outside in the sun, cleaned with leather cleaner and even applied mink oil and it still has an odor. I do like the bag and hope the smell dissipates over time but customers shouldn’t have to go through extra processes to make something work.

I love the weight, the size ALMOST everything....then the smell hit. ugh!!! It smells like chemicals and play doh :/

My boyfriend needed a "manbag" for day-to-day back and forth. He loves it and gets a lot of compliments on it. Doesn't have the odor some people have suggested... it smells like leather because... it's leather.

Very pleased with the purchase. My bag was lighter in color than the pictures but expect it will darken a bit over time. Quality of the leather, stitching and hardware is good.The bag did have a very strong barnyard type smell when it came out of the plastic bag it was shipped in. It noticeably permeated a fairly large bedroom the first night. The smell did fade to a very mild leather smell after a few days and continues to fade over time.

I purchased this as a gift for a priest. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and craftsmanship. My gift definitely knocked it out of the park.

there are probably nicer bags, but this was very good quality for the money
