LOVE IT!!
This thing is incredible! I bought it for my cats room at night lol they love watching all the different themes. The picture clarity is really good and the animations look amazing! I wasnt expecting the picture to be as clear as it is & the quality is even better in person. It's easy to use, comes with a remote and has many different theme options.. you can play them all or put one on repeat that you like! The whales are gorgeous looking and one of my favorites but my cats love the gold fish! And the shooting stars and fireflies lol.. we've been using it nightly for the past few nights since it came and have no complaints! It even has a nightlight that you can turn on or off and the option to connect to Bluetooth and use the speaker. It's a pretty cool device!

Plug and Play (options limited)
This novelty light projector, with its 60 preprogrammed scenes, is great if you want an easy plug and play option that creates instant ambiance and immersive experience. Pros: Plug and play, easy to use, 60 programmed scenes are varied (not just of galaxies, stars, etc) and nature, animals, holidays/special events, etc. Accompanying music is paired perfectly with each scene but also have option to Bluetooth your own music selections as well. Cons: The projector has absolutely no way to customize, edit, add to, etc the 60 provided scenes. Seems like a missed opportunity to be able to add new scenes, etc. There is no accompanying app and no way to filter, search or group scenes. Just have to manually click through the list. While the scenes are varied, would have liked more holiday scene options and hardly any scenes feature abstract, quirky, futuristic, dark, or fantastical themes. The device is limited in that it should be used 2โ-10โ away from the projection surface and even still had a hard time getting a crystal clear image even after adjusting focus. There is no way to adjust the image to compensate projecting at an angle. Needs to be positioned head on and with no mounting ports just adds to limiting placement. The image is pretty impressive but will need to make sure the room is pretty dark(basically pitch black) otherwise wonโt get full effect. Overview: Great device if looking for easy, plug and play, user friendly, and have ideal space and wall to project on. If looking for more customization, ability to add/remove scenes, and adaptability to less than ideal spaces than probably best to go with a projector with more bells and whistles and the ability to load scenes from external sources. FYI: Amazed how much better the scenes appear when recorded than in person. Not nearly as vibrant, dynamic, or 3D in person.

Nice but tricky and bs with registry
Be careful buying this warranty registry already on some b.s. suppose to be 36 months however, Amazon will run you in a circle for the order number as well so you cannot type it in... After using it I do enjoy it. Nice and many images to watch and enjoy while bluetooth compatible.

Nice that it has movie like effects
Originally purchased the govee projector 2.. It came with eight discs that were very cinematic. But you had to individually change each disc in order to see a galaxy scene. This is a different type of projector. As it plays scenes..This seems to play more like a movie. There are some categories I'm not interested in such as ghost images/ Halloween , unicorns childish themes but overall I think it's a very neat projector. I like more of the categories than I don't. There is a pause feature so if you come across a scene that you actually like. For me that would be the beach scene. It's nice that you can pause the scene. I would like to delete a couple of categories that is not an option. I would like to see this projector with more nature scenes without the childish scenes...Santa Claus etc I think that would be the next upgrade for them... To take this next level. The pixel quality is okay. It's good enough. It would be nice if it could become more vibrant but I do like the movie set up more than having to change individual discs. This is more entertaining. Would love to see more Galaxy images and more world images of other countries or scenes or Africa. Make it more national geographic like! Just wouldn't want to look up and look at a ghost on my ceiling personally not sure why that was even an option on here!

Great 3D projector for kids
Great 3D projector for kids. This has all the features you need, built in speaker, remote control, amazing videos, bluetooth and more. SOme faults is the projection is not very bright, needs to be used in semi dark room. The remote is infrared and only works from one side. Still an amazing product.

Green stars?
The projector works well. I have had it for 13 months as of this review, and it works without any problems, despite nightly use for an hour at a time. However, since when are the stars in the sky green? There used to be an option for a white stars version, but it was far more expensive than the green stars version. I guess white lasers cost more than green ones. It's a moot point now, however, because it there is no longer an option to get a white stars version. Since when do the stars fade out every 5 seconds then fade back in again? In all my years of star gazing, I can honestly say that I have never once seen the stars in the sky all fade to black, and then faade back in. You get the full star field at max brigthtness for about 5 seconds, it then fades to black over another 5 seconds. it remains black for about 5 seconds, before fading back in over another 5 second period, rinse and repeat. They say that this is done to prevent damaging the laser. Very realiatic, yeah right. The stars are laid out on a grid. Looking at the ceiling, you can see how the star patterns repeat over and over again and are laid out in rows, which make up a grid. You can easily see that there are maybe 8 or 9 small patterns of three or four stars, which repeat over and over again for the length of each row. If you look at the first row, and pick out a particular pattern of stars, look down to the next row, and the patterns are identical, but shifted one position to the right, the next row down has shifted another position to the right. Another tremendously realistic feature. So, the bottom line is, I found the device works very well, both the unit and the remote control, but if you want something even remotely realistic, keep looking. You may have to refer bacck to the manual the first couple of times you use the remote, in order to learn what all the buttons do. I should also mention the nature sounds. There are a couple of songs, one is the opening notes of Joy To The World (the Christmas carol, not Three Dog Night), and the other is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. They sould like they are playing on a cheap music box. The actual nature sounds include crickets chirping with a rooster crowing in the background every 10 seconds. There are birds chirping with the occasional elephant bellowing, and a lion roaring in the background every 10 seconds. The brook sounds like someone turned on a water faucet and just left it running. Most babling brook sound effects I havee heard, usually have some birds chirping or something similar, not just water running. The sound of running water can be a benefit to a man my age, however, even if it doesn't sound like a real brook or stream. There are other sounds, such as what is supposed to be a crackling fire, a rain storm, and ocean waves. The sound bytes are all very short, repeating roughly every 10 seconds. Clearly these are not actual sound samples, but rather, are sounds created in a sound lab or on a sound app. So, it gets 5 stars for functionality, and 1 star for realism; I give it an overall score of 3 stars.
