Unfortunately, about 80% of my fish — including neon tetras, corydoras, zebras, and others — died due to the ungrown seeds that produced a sponge-like gel. Initially, I thought the mistake was mine, so I tried several times to replace the tank water from another working larger tank wanter and remove the issue. Eventually, I cleared everything back to the starting condition. Even after seven days, nothing grew from the seeds except the previously installed plants. This was not only a waste of money but also ruined my tank environment, resulting in over 14 dead fish. I trusted the product without checking reviews carefully, and it turned out to be a failure. Review: Great Germination and Growth with a Simple Dry Setup! - I’m very pleased with these aquarium plant seeds! I started with a dry setup and placed the tank in the sun for about 10 days while the seeds germinated. The germination rate was around 70-80%, and the plants are growing beautifully. They will add a lush, natural look to my aquarium, making it a vibrant environment for my fish. Highly recommend! ## Features - Sprinkle the carpet seeds on the aquarium soil. - Spray water on it and cover it with Transparent plastic sheet to maintian moisture - Repeat the steps for 4 days. You may find sprouts. - Fill with water and switch on light daily for 6 hrs. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09TBKMYNN | | Additional Features | Pet Friendly | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,491 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #112 in Aquarium Accessories | | Brand | SANSEFERO | | Brand Name | SANSEFERO | | Colour | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 2.3 out of 5 stars 686 Reviews | | Item Weight | 8 Grams | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | CARSEED1 | | Number Of Items | 500 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Packer Contact Information | Premier Plants | | Pet Type | Fish | | Special Feature | Pet Friendly | | Specific Uses For Product | aquarium | | Tank Size | 2 Cubic Feet | | Tank Volume | 2 Cubic Feet | | Target Species | Fish | | Unit Count | 500.00 Count | | Vivarium Type | Aquarium | | country-of-origin | China | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SANSEFERO - **Colour:** Brown - **Item Weight:** 8 Grams - **Material:** Plastic - **Number of Items:** 500 - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Special Feature:** Pet Friendly - **Specific Uses For Product:** aquarium - **Tank Volume:** 2 Cubic Feet - **Vivarium Type:** Aquarium ## Images ![SANSEFERO Carpet Seeds/Ornament Aquatic Live Double Leaf Aquarium Plants 500 Seeds for Aquarium Pack of 1 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718vuhHcvEL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ This seeding that ruined my tank environment *by P***R on 5 August 2026* I wasted two rounds of attempts, following the given procedure to restore the ecosystem.
