BS01 Boys Ballroom Smooth Dance Shirt with Briefs in White (10.5")

Finally, an alternative to more expensive dancewear! I definitely think this shirt is everything we wanted and fits well. My son dances in 10 dance and is in an area where there are NO stores that carry dancewear. We have to have everything handmade. It was great to find this shirt, though the price is high, it is still LESS than DSI which is even more money. I have searched even on ebay for used shirts and just can't find any...yet there are definitely lots of boys that do ballroom. Thankfully this seller is now on Amazon and I was able to use my Amazon card and get 5% back...thanks amazon. Frankly it's high time we have some more boys dancewear in the marketplace to bring pricing down. Kids grow fast and at the prices most of the dancewear is, many would just find it too costly. He has been dancing for 3 1/2 years and this is his first shirt of this type. Previously we had panty sewn on a regular dress white shirt which was not as tight fitting.As for the fit of the shirt, it is clean crisp and regulation. I like the button front as my son wears a black bow tie and it looks elegant. We do NDCA and the shirt is perfect for competitions. Material is smooth and fits with a little room, not quite skin tight as I've seen in some kids but it's certainly slim fitting and provides the clean line I was looking for. In addition the cuffs are nice, easy button. My 11 year old measured 12.5 at the neck which is the only sizing to go by and it fits fine all other places. It is a bit long with the panty included...could be a smidgen shorter as the pant tends to come too far down, but that's all tucked in anyway. I think my son will fill into the shirt a bit, though the neck will probably be too tight in a year. So if I was the manufacturer I would make the rest of the shirt body and length in the torso a bit smaller while maintaining the neck size. I can send measurements of my child to the manufacturer if necessary. He is tall, thin, and a perfect dancer model for his age.Well, I will see what the shirt does for him at the next comp!!!Seller mailed the shirt promptly, had it right away and packed well. the shirt is as expected, and exactly what I needed. The only issue - the shirt sits well in the neck, but in the body it's a little big, but still - it's worth 5 stars.

I wish there was clearer sizing, but the seller is great with returns so I purchased two sizes and just returned the one I did not need.
