Haven't taken this on a trip yet, but will be using it a lot this summer for travel, so I will update my review as I use it. At this point, love a lot of features of the bag, but I can see that there might be problems with the zipper quality in the future. Wish the company would just put ykk zippers on it, even if it makes the bag cost an extra 5 bucks. I really like the mesh zipper compartment, instead of most companies using a bungie strap. With the extension, I was able to fit about 20 t-shirts and 1 jacket in total. In one of my photos, I have packed a BAGSMART medium size compression cube and a BAGSMART small narrow cube with three rolled up t-shirts on the very top of the bag. I also put 2 shirts in the front pocket, and 1 shirt and 1 pair of yoga pants in the computer pocket. I don't always travel with a laptop, so I will use the back pocket for an easy access outfit. I wish that there was a water bottle pocket somewhere but isn't a deal breaker for me. I don't have pictures, but I also packed this bag without the expansion. I ended up having to take the small cube out, as well as 5-6 t-shirts from my medium compression cube. So the non expanded size can probably fit 10-12 t-shirts. Things do tend to settle in the bag so there is room at the top, so it would be a good spot to add some flat shoes or flip flops at the last minute. This is why I LOVE that there is a mesh divider so shoes can be somewhat separated from the clothes.

This bag is much smaller compared to the picture as advertised but it's still a great carry-on bag! The bag is exactly the same size as carry-on luggage after expansion. The interior of the bag is built like a piece of luggage. I can fit approximately 3-4 days' worth of clothes which compose of 2 long sleeve shirts, 2 short sleeve t-shirts, 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of shorts, 1 polo, 4 pair of boxers, 2 pair of socks, 1 standard size toiletry bag, 5 days of protein powder with shaker, and pair flip flops or a pair of converse. If you use vacuum bags, you probably can fit 5-6 days of clothes. Not to mention there is a padded slot for your laptop with charge storage. At the lower right corner of the bag, there is a USB-B port where you can conveniently charge your devices. There are also other compartments where you can easily reach in getting snacks, books, passport, tickets and etc. This fits perfectly under your seat so you don't have to bother reaching for the overhead every time you need something during a flight. The only concern is the USB-B charging port, a lot of techs are slowly migrating to USB-C. There is also an AUX plug which makes it a bit outdated tech-wise. Other than that, it is a good carry-on bag/weekend bag.

I had first purchased an underseat roller bag, but felt that the wheels took up too much space. So I gave this one a go. It worked great for holding my travel papers, snacks, a few pull-ups and toys for the toddler, a lightweight blanket, headphones, tablets, etc and for keeping my arms free with the kiddos. Most importantly, it also held my 15” MacBook secure against my back which was a major plus as the laptop pocket in the roller bag I tried was in the front of the bag, which made it front heavy caused some scary tips. Also, I did not have to completely remove the MacBook while going through security, I just unzipped that compartment and laid it flat. One thing I do not love are the zippers. A couple of times a section of zipper separated and I had to play with it to get it zipped back up when the bag was stuffed. I think using a heavier duty zipper would make this bag perfect. It’s a great size though, even fully stuffed, the bag easily fit under Frontier’s small seats.

This bag takes the worry out of your "personal item" being too large and the airlines giving you issues about it. Although small in size by default, it eats up your gear with ample space to pack for 3-5 days max, depending on what you pack. Laptop space is good for a larger 15 inch laptop (I have a mobile workstation so it's thicker and overall tougher than a regular laptop, but it still fit. Travel Tips: -Get yourself a travel towel - they are super thin and work very well while not taking up a lot of space. They are thinner than a kitchen rag, but absorb like a real towel and dry quickly. -Try to get lodging with laundry available, this way you can pack less and just do laundry there. Take a few Tide Pods and dryer sheets and boom. -Get travel empty travel bottles and fill with your fav shampoo, soap, etc. This way there's no guessing if you'll like the travel size product you just found at the store. -Get a fast-charge travel battery pack so you can use the USB port on this bag. To improve (for manufacturer): -I used to design luggage in the past. You need to improve material quality so it can last longer. The vinyl used is rather thin (perhaps to save weight and cost) but this will be detrimental in the long run -Bottom should be a tougher material to absorb scrapes -Shoulder straps need to be tougher. These will likely rip off over time. -Give a choice of USB port, so it's friendly with more modern devices using USB-C. Perhaps if the inside cable is swappable and you make the cable available, a user can upgrade this connection. -While some of the above might bump up pricing, I do believe the user will be happier in the long run. Overall a great buy!

This is a nice looking, very sturdy travel bag. The look and its quality are much better than other products around the same price. I used it for a carry-on personal item during my trip to Japan. There are three compartments: the front one can be used for items that need a quick access, the main compartment in the middle is not spacy as I expected, but it packs a lot when it's expanded, the one close to your back can store laptop/cables/portable HDD, etc. There are three pockets; two in the front and a small hidden one in the back. Zippers for some compartments opens a little confusing way. The bag won't fit perfectly under the seat when expanded but it fits enough. There is a strap that you can hook to the suitcase handle which is essential for a travel bag. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase!

I Love these backpacks for travel on discount Airlines, especially Frontier, who routinely checks the size of your personal item. My wife and I both bought them and they’ve become our most used pieces of luggage for short flying trips. They are definitely worth the money.

Overall, this is a nice backpack that could meet my needs if there weren't better options. The pros and cons only come about with side-by-side comparisons with other packs. Pros: Easy access to laptop compartment and front pockets for often used items. This pack is built more for destination to destination travel, not really for daily use in my opinion. Lots of pockets and all seemed to be placed correctly Expandable. Support buckles. Hidden pocket on back and zippered card pocket on strap. Supportive chest strap(you don't know how useful these are until you use it). Nice outside "water resistant material. Cons: Slightly smaller than expected. Unless you leave the interior, zippered netting unzipped, it's cumbersome to open the main compartment to add to or retrieve something from the bag. You really need to open it all of the way. Shoulder straps aren't as wide or as padded as much as other brands. Back padding is noticably less than others. Again, this is a really good bag and would recommend for travel, but not everyday use.

Después de mirar muchas mochilas de viaje/avión con medidas dentro de las peticiones de las aerolíneas, consideró a mi manera de ver cómo la mejor mochila en el mercado. Si es verdad que las medidas pueden ser un poco mayores que las pide Ryanair, pero luego la realidad, (después de haber viajado unas cuantas veces), es que el público en general lleva de todo y en tamaños diferentes. Dentro de esta mochila entra de todo, la última escapada han sido seis días y me ha dado para meter dos pantalones, tres polos, una camisa manga larga, ropa interior, calcetines y artículos de aseo. He metido también una tablet y cargadores varios. Mi consideración es que la mejor mochila actualmente, con las correas laterales puedes apretar para ajustar tamaño. Entra de todo y repito, muy válida para viajar. El material puede ser un poco “plástico” pero todo lo que se fabrica actualmente es así. Si cambias la composición del material está claro que pesara mucho más la mochila. Una vez colocada es muy cómoda y tiene dos asas para llevar con la mano. Múltiples bolsillos con cremalleras para guardar lo que queramos, incluida la de la espalda para llevar cosas de valor o documentos , etc… En definitiva RECOMIENDO mucho esta mochila de viaje. Volvería a comprarla si fuera necesario.

This is a great laptop rucksack which you can expand. Plenty of storage as I use it as a mobile office as I work in various car dealership so it's very comfortable and we'll padded. Only one niggle and wished there were a couple of internal pockets that you could secure smaller items with a zip or velcro strip.
