Looks great, inside and out.
Jan 2020 initial review - It took my teenage son and I about an hour to install. Looks and works great so far, even on an 21 year old work truck. I took pics for people like me that want a bit more than just the deployed thumbnail. If you have stakebox tie-downs, you can keep them if they pop up parallel to the bedside, without cutting. Sliding rails mount inside the center of the rear most stakebox on the shortbox. I cut holes for a center set of tie-downs, so I had to remove and remount those after install.

Know what your buying.
I don’t really know the quality of the product. When I looked at the installation instructions I never took it out of the box! If you have a bed liner you need to take it out and cut a piece out. Then you need to screw an angle frame bar to the tailgate which in turn would always be in the way when the tailgate is down. So I returned this one and chose another option with easier install.

Local truck shop umboxed it and the top piece was dented. I called roll n lock and they said they wouldn't warrantee it bc it was purchased off amazon. Sent it back to Amazon with out a problem but wouldn't buy there product again. Also the kit requires cutting of the inner plastic on the tail gate

Amazing bed cover. Installed on an 05 F250 short bed.
This is a great bed cover. It arrived quickly, 2 days after purchase. I compared many bed covers and decided this one was the best for my needs. I got this over the retrax because it takes up much less bed space. I got this over the Truck Covers USA because it locks in several places along the track. I don't particularly like the folding bed covers such as the Bak flip.Installation is easy, although the instruction pictures were hard to see, and I think some things should be more clear. I used the help of a youtube video and took my time to make sure I did everything exactly right. Doing it again would only take 15 mins. Some things I needed clarification on:1) Which way the bed rails went? - The bed rails have a curved piece that fits up towards the box2)How far towards the box do the rails go? - At first I just had the rails a little in front of the box, but it actually slides up past the box 2-3 inches, and then the cargo nut and bolt hold the rails and box togetherAnother problem I ran into was my tailgate, as with a lot of tail gates the metal at the very end was kind of bent and pulling up, this made getting the tailgate extrusion aligned difficult. When I first installed it I had a slight bow in the center. This slight bow made it almost impossible to get the latch to release. I thought the whole thing was going to be permanently locked together. I fought with it until it finally released and then I raised the center slightly and now it works very easily. It is VERY important to get the extrusion in the right position to prevent the whole thing from getting locked together.Check the rubber seal below the side rails before tightening it down, mine had rolled under in a couple spots and I had to loosen everything up to make it flat all the way across. My only other complaint is in this Texas heat it gets soooo hot, pulling it closed that last foot or so can be pretty brutal.

Would be Good if Housing Wasn't So Thin and Cheap
I had been wanting a Roll N Lock for my F-150 for a long time. Getting ready to take a long road trip with luggage, I finally decided to pony up the $$$ to buy one. Upon delivery I opened up the box to inspect everything. The first thing I noticed was that the aluminum housing was very thin and flimsy, and somewhere along the way mine had apparently been dropped because the housing was bent in a few places.I decided this was cosmetic and wouldn't affect the function, and I really didn't want to box it all up and send it back so I went ahead and installed it.Installation was pretty easy. It took me about an hour and a half. Once I got everything installed and pulled the cover closed everything latched perfectly. No adjustments necessary. I decided to operate it a few times to test it. On the 3rd or 4th time I let the cover roll itself back into the housing, the latch on the bottom over the cover somehow managed to get caught on the top edge of the aluminum housing. Every time I pulled I could see the top of the housing bending out, but it wouldn't release. Maybe those dents weren't just cosmetic after all. I could see that the top lip of the housing was bent upward, and from what I could tell there was no way to get in there and bend it back downward. So, regretfully I took it off my truck and returned it.As someone who wanted one of these covers for a long time and had heard good things about them, I hated that mine arrived damaged. I really wanted to give it five stars, but in my opinion Roll N Lock is taking an otherwise excellent product and cheapening it with an aluminum housing that is too thin and too easily damaged. I do intend to replace the one I returned, but I'll order it from a local truck accessory shop and let them install it so that if there's a problem then they can be the ones to fix it.

Good, product, but not great
Did a lot of research on trying to find the best rolling bed cover for my 2011 F250 SD. Almost all reviews were positive on this product.Installation was not at all like what is on the company website. Installation instructions consisted of 4 different pieces of paper in 3 different locations of the box. Unless I had spent a great deal of time looking at this on-line, I would not have had a clue of what to do. Installation took 3.5 hours, not 2 as described in other reviews. This product is the most expensive you can buy that is a rolling cover. The next best reviewed was available from Amazon for substantially less. Kinda feel snookered. If I had a chance to make this decision all over again, would have bought the other product. It had negative reviews because of water leaks and marginal install instructions. This one leaks water and also the install instructions would be rated a negative 5 if that was an option.
