The tight microfilament Evolon is a breathable, nonwoven fabric protects without a rustling sound. Nothing but pure air comes through its millions of microchannels. The fabric dries quickly, wicking moisture away from your skin. Washing only makes it softer and will not remove its efficacy after repeated washings up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Evolon fabric received the OekoTex 100 class 1 certificate, meaning there are no harmful substances, making it safe for even baby skin. It has no PVC or any other toxic chemical treatments. These components are safe for human health and the environment. The production of Evolon is environmentally friendly as shown by many health and environmental awards to its manufacturer. Sleep Safe Zipcovers Evolution is a great complement to your high count sheets. Our encasements are constructed by quality craftsmen in the southeastern U.S. This is the best high tech to filter out very small things and works so well you will not know it is there. Out of the package, this product feels coarse; however, after the very first wash, it becomes cottony soft to the touch, yet maintains its durability. Encasing your mattress and pillows as barrier, impenetrable encasement is the simplest way to protect your sleep. Review: Going strong, 7 years and counting. - I have 9 of these in pillow, baby crib, twin, double, king, and queen sizes. They hold up great. We had a bed bug nest in our home years ago. Pain in the butt to deal with getting rid of bed bugs. But these make life easier. Best of all these are Not waterproof. No poofy sheets, no clamminess, no crinkly plastic sound. Review: Zipper broke because too tight a fit - I bought the 9" for a 9" mattress, Extremely tight fit and very challenging to put on. And now, after laundering it and trying to put it back on my mattress, the zipper broke. I'd appreciate a replacement or refund, but doubt I'll get it as I've had the product for almost 2 years. But it's barely used as it is for the guest bedroom. Very disappointed. ## Features - Made in the US and made of EVOLON. The fabric is rustle-free, comfortable, and has no "plastic" feeling. - Sleep Safe ZipCover Evolution mattress encasements provide protection to make you sleep well. - Totally machine washable even with non-chlorine bleach and wash tested at 500x for durability. It did fit my KING mattress good but not perfect. I would recommend buying this product as the price is reasonable compared to other fancy covers. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/410510815-evolon-mattress-protector-zippered-mattress-encasement-sleep-safe-zipcover-12](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/410510815-evolon-mattress-protector-zippered-mattress-encasement-sleep-safe-zipcover-12) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
