So good I bought another one
Very good price for this lamp - nice modern look. Brightness is easy to adjust, easy to see on/off switch in the dark, plus night light if required, and spare USB port to charge phone/tablet. Easy to change position with a good stable base. Good product

A stylish and well made desk lamp
The media could not be loaded. ***update at the bottom***I was looking for a lamp for my computer desk. I need something I could either clamp to the back or sides, or a slimline lamp that wouldn't take up too much of my limited space. This folding one caught my eye with it's low profile base and slender boom. The lamp comes packaged in an unbranded box but illustrated box. Inside the lamp is secured with a cardboard insert and aside from the plastic wrap and a twist tie, it all appears to be recyclable. In the box you have lamp itself, a USB-C cable and a small manual. No PSU is supplied with the lamp and this is explained within the description, but it may not be clear to everyone. Any 5volt 2amp+ USB power source will do. The supplied USB-C cable isn't great. It's about 1.5m in length but feels very low quality. When connecting it into the lamp it didn't want to fully insert, and required a little force. I've tried other cables and they are fine. Overall it isn't in keeping with the quality of the rest of the lamp and I've replaced it with a slightly longer but much higher quality braided cable. Speaking of the quality of the lamp, the base is ABS plastic with a brushed effect on the face. The boom arm is aluminium with plastic hinges. Overall the quality is good but it would have been nice to have seen a thin veneer of aluminum on the face of the base.Once powered on the main touch switch is illuminated in white. One touch illuminates the main lap and the blue bar one the base indicates the brilliance. Swipe along it to increase and decrease it. Above the blue bar you have 3 touch buttons. The first on the left sets the colour temp, the middle switches on a handy night light, and the right one sets the timer. These respond instantly to your touch but aren't illuminated. It would be nice if they were backlit. In terms of brightness it really is rather surprising. It has no problem lighting my small office and the light is nicely diffused so can be used for detail work. The option to set the colour temp is handy too. The arms are fairly adjustable and can be put into a number of positions. However it would be nice to be able to tilt both hinges back. Also the arm only rotates 45° in either direction at the base. It really should have a minimum of 90° either way. The only other issue I've noticed is the diffuser can rattle when moving the arm. When the lamp is not in use if can be folded away. This is a fantastic lamp with a few minor niggles. The supplied cable is subpar, and it really should come with the option of a power supply for a little more. Some extra adjustment would be nice but it really isn't deal breaking. At this price point it's an excellent lamp for all sorts of scenarios and I am considering getting another one.***update*** I ended up buying a second lamp the next day as it was on sale. Overall the lamp is of the same overall quality except the diffuser doesn't rattle on this one. So doesn't appear to be a universal problem.

This lamp is way better than I expected
I basically bought it to take it a part and use it for a project, but it's actually really well made. Controls work well, it's made of metal and it is screwed with actual screws. I thought it would be a glued together plastic shell. There's piece of lead at the base to make it more sturdy and it makes it more premium feeling.Big thumbs up

Great desk lamp
I have it in my room, on my desk and use it instead of the main light when it gets dark but don't want my room too bright while I'm on my laptop just so there still is some background light. I do love the features it comes with like the brightness slider, the little night light underneath the base, the different light modes and the timer. One minor drawback is that the power button has a light ring so you can easily find it in the dark. Useful but also lights the room ever so slightly which can be annoying when going to sleep. It would have been better if the ring was slightly more dim than it is. Minor for me though as I can still sleep through it.

Good build quality
Often these Chinese made items are 'good enough' given the price paid, but this lamp, in my opinionis excellent (and it's now even cheaper!). The arm and lamp head are aluminium; the upper surface of the base is plastic, but has a brushed effect and could pass for metal. All of the controls are touch sensitive - the brightness is adjusted by sliding your finger along the strip below the buttons, which illuminates in blue indicating the brightness level. Remember that this lamp does not come with a power supply, but if you have a mobile phone, you probably have several redundant chargers lying around which could provide the necessary juice.
