RedbackMen's Bobcat UBOK Dark Brown Elastic Sided Soft Toe Leather Work Boot (6.5 AU 3E (7.5 M US Men))

Ordered these about 2.5 months ago, and they're awesome! I'm a size 7.5 US womens and the 4.5 fit perfectly. I have a bit of bunion and high arches. They're super comfortable, and they're great for all day walking in all kinds of terrain. I just throw in some arch inserts and I'm ready to go anywhere. I've worn them in snow and rain, mud and ice, and they perform really well and are waterproof. The inside sole is hard and flat, but the treads are flexible which at first gives an odd sensation, but is great for gripping the ground and ends up being more comfortable than a cushy sole. The inside sole is removable, which leaves the option of putting in one that's more suited to crooked feet. They are also pretty good at temperature regulation. There was a short break in period of a week, but not bad and now there is no uncomfortable rubbing at all. The inside isn't lined, just the raw leather, which is good because that's usually the first thing to get ripped up in my shoes. I normally tear up shoes pretty quickly, so it's nice to see a shoe that doesn't have so many weak points. If I remember, I will edit this review when more time has elapsed. Edit: 2022, bought this pair in 2016 and they're pretty much done now. Longest lasting pair of shoes I've ever had. And QUITE a beating: hiking, warehouse work, etc. The sole split on one shoe and the side split didn't matter at all. Elastic is rough but still good. I didn't even take care of them (like ever).

These are great boots! I wear a size 13 and the only area that they were a little tight was over the top arch of my foot. They probably would have loosened up naturally after a week or so of regular wear but, I used a stretcher to get there a little quicker. The color of the dark brown leather is very close to black. Works for me. They are a bit tricky to get into as the cuff is narrow but it should stretch out over time. Anyway, I really like them.no regrets.

For the past 15 years I have been loyal to Redback boots. In the last 15 years I have only really needed to buy 2 pairs but I'm a stickler for clean and no tears so that's why I keep buying new pairs. Now 15 years is a long time to buy the same pair of boots over and over but these are the best. Heck as I'm writing this review I'm wearing my Redbacks as I type. I feel they are as comfortable as slippers. Its impossible to describe how comfortable these babies are. I have tried 6-8 other types of Chelsea boots, from $700 pairs of Bally, $500 dollar R.M Williams, to Sub $200 Blundstones (now made in china) to even pair of USA made Allen Edmonds nothing has been better than the 100% Australian made Redbacks.I'm so grateful for Amazon to be able to provide these to the masses in the USA for an freak'ing unbelievable price. I used to have to order directly from Australian websites and pay $80 for shipping alone but now its possible to get them for free shipping with Prime. Thats the reason I buy them as frequent as I do. If I squff up the leather while doing yard work or other, then I don't feel bad buying a new pair. That said I still kick around a pair that is 4 years old and they polish up to close to new. You can tell the elastic after 4 years has some wear and tear but after trying them vs RM Williams, the elastic flopped out after a year., These boots are the best in class with best in price as well. Wroth well more than marketed. I just hope they don't raise prices after my review. I would pay more for them indeed and I recommending them to everyone I meet who asked about boots.Forget about American Romeos, (made in china) Timberland (also China), Cole Hann (China Made) and countless others, buy these and you will be hooked for life like me.

I'm a Superintendent for a commercial GC and I spend 10-12 hrs/day, 5-6 days/week on my feet in the field and in the office. I have had these boots for 15 MONTHS and I took the pictures today. I have owned all types of boots...Georgia Boots, Ariat, Red Wing, Wolverine and many others that I can't remember. Typically, I go through about 2 pairs/year. Then I came across these Red Backs and my work footwear was changed for LIFE!! These were comfortable RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! The elastic is a little tight for the first couple of days, but not uncomfortably so (you can't just slip right into them at first.) The pull tab in the back is a huge help and is STRONG. These come in UK sizes, so order a size up...for instance, I wear a US 10-1/2 so I ordered a 9-1/2...fits perfect. I'm not even close to having to order a new pair after 15 months of constant wear. I've had these on for as long as 16 straight hours and my feet were fine. I haven't even had to add inserts! Red Back has me as a customer for LIFE! Simply the BEST!!

Finally! A well-made Chelsea style boot to replace the now lesser-made Blundstones (the soles now deteriorate before the leather upper does). I wear a US women's size 7 and the AU 4 / US men's 5 fits perfectly. The toe box is nice and roomy (which I prefer). I tried Dr. Martins for my last pair (because they're cheaper) bit they're now falling apart and I hated being between sizes, which was also the case with Blundstones. Asides from being clearly made to last, these Redbacks are by far the most comfortable out of the above mentioned. I loved my first pair of Blindstones, but I did find them hard on my knees. The soles and the insoles of the Redbacks are far more "bouncy" and cushioned by comparison and there is a light arch support. The color is definitely black and only the elastic sides are brown. In going back and looking at the different boot descriptions (which are misleading) they were only describing the elastic as dark brown (without mentioning the boot was black). They look good though so I'm letting that one go as I was prepared for a that by prior reviewers. The leather is stiff but strong and I was able to wear these all day long right off the bat in total comfort.

I have just bought my second pair to keep as a smarter pair. The originals are still great and comfortable but always muddy at the moment. Completely waterproof. The best and most comfortable yard/outdoor boots I have ever had.
