I wouldn't use anything smaller in gauge for good results. This is a well made product and most recommended for any battery aid. Well recommended, if only for an emergency backup in the the trunk.

Good, but sometimes hard to get a grip
These are very thick and deliver alot of current. The clamp part is kind of small and sometimes difficult to get a good grip on posts.

Solid jumper cables
Good value set of jumper cable to keep in the truck just in case. You gotta be a friggin ninja to get them back in that bag though.
