Reaktion Books Great Economic Thinkers: An Introduction - from Adam Smith to Amartya Sen

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this book, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have never had a formal course in economics or economic history. This book provides an excellent overview of the world's most influential economists and their contributions to the science and methodology of economics. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has even a passing interest in economics, but also to those who are more than familiar with the subject and want a compact companion to serve as a reminder as to why they like the subject of economics.

Très intéressant de voir quels sont les auteurs qui aux USA sont des grands auteurs... et pourquoi! L'absence de tradition contestataire est du coup assez patent.
