The quality of this mat is GREAT!! PRO TIP: It is challenging to unrole and wants to curl back up once in place. While rolled out, place weights on the corners to keep it down, then place a sheet on top of the mat and iron over the sheet. The heat will cause the plastic to be a little more pliable and remain in place. Once you've applied the heat, you can remove the weights from the corners (be sure to iron over the corners too).

You should know that this hi tech item will let an office chair roll around on it beautifully without failing. No cracks after two weeks. It is a wonder in the engineering community. Everyone's jaw dropped.

Works ok. Not very thick so may have a relatively short life before cracking.

My desk chair was tearing up the carpet under my desk. I ordered this to protect what’s left. It fits perfectly under my desk and chair and has done a great job protecting the carpet. It makes it easier to roll my chair under the desk as well. Will be buying another one once my vanity comes in.

I purchased this to protect the composite floor in my office, but the floor has suffered damage any way. The plastic that this mat is made of is very soft, and might offer protection against scratches, but it does not prevent the floor from being damaged by the wheels of the chair. The individual panels of the flooring have become disfigured over time and will need to be replaced. In addition to absence of floor protection, this mat will not stay in place. It slides around the floor and curls up where it has been pushed up against the desk. This causes all sorts of problems including creating a trip hazard and trapping cables between the mat and the desk. I would not recommend this mat for use on a hard floor. I have no idea how it will work for carpet. Maybe it was mislabeled and was never designed to be used on hard floors.

I came up with an easy method to unroll it. Vehicle interiors get hot in the sun even in winter. I put mine on the dash of my car early on the morning and at 4PM it was warm enough to easily unroll an put into place.

Really hard to unroll and lay flat. Took two people to get it laid out and weights on it.

I was looking for a carpet that would fit the deco, be waterproof because my young fur baby sometimes doesn't make it time out the door and something that would be easy and fast to clean all while fitting with the deco. Well this is it! Stumbled upon this I don't know how but so happy, it checks all the boxes. Useful not only for a desk chair!
