Great chair mat for carpet in home office.
Great value for the money. Unrolling it is easy—run a hot bath and drop the rolled-up mat in the tub for 20 minutes. It will be a complete breeze to lay flat then. Then place books (textbooks if you still have some around) on the corners and throughout the mat. I do wish this was a little thicker as my carpet mat is quite plush, so this chair mat ends up with dents when I'm sitting in the chair while I work. It takes a little extra effort to roll out of the dents. Not a big problem, small inconvenience. I'd prefer a thicker mat, but I'm content with this one anyway. The mat re-flattens itself when I move the position of my chair, though.

About as good as you could ask for at such a low price
These require some care when unrolling, but can be done fairly easily with only one person. Having some heavy weights for the corners makes the process easier. I did not need to soak it in warm water or use any other tricks for the plastic, just had to use my body weight and kneel on the mat as I unrolled it. Have only had a short time and the chair rollers do seem to cause indentations/grooves, but so far at least these have been minimal and have not really affected the mat too much. The chair doesn't roll as smoothly as I'd hoped, due to the grooves and the way the mat seems to buckle a bit under the weight, but for the price it would be hard to ask for much more. I'm hoping this will hold up under frequent use, it seems reasonably tough and durable so far.

Chair mat
It works great. I purchased this for my Father and he loves it. The only issue I had was it came rolled up so it took a minute for it to straightened out.

Weak cheap plastic
Go for a more tough hard plastic. This is very cheaply made, malleable plastic. I had an old office mat that I found roll along smoothly since it was made from quality hardened plastic. This one is thin and I can barely move at all as my chair’s wheels sink into it like it is made of clay, so I can’t really even move at all on it and now it is severely dented. Terrible product on carpet if it is just going to be worse to roll on than the carpet itself. Returning for sure.

Challenges with Unrolling & Sharp Pincers
Still not fully deployed. I’ll probably keep it but still unsure. It is wrapped incredibly tightly and the “few hours in warm temperature it will take to unroll it” seems way overoptimistic. The other challenge is the pincers on the bottom side can easily cut you if you are not very careful. Also note this is only suitable for rugs, not for bare. floors.

NICE AND THICK, QUALITY
ITS NICE AND THICK!! THE GOOD PLASTIC, I HAVE HAD SOME BEFORE THAT WERE MUCH MORE FLIMSY, ITS THICK AND TAKES A BIT TO UNFOLD, USE EXTTRA HANDS IF U CAN, JUST EASIER BUT DOABLE BY ONE PERSON. I LOVE THE QUALITY OF IT

Wear gloves and use two ppl to unroll! Yw :)
Purchased this to put under my treadmill that I have in my carpeted bedroom. Works great. A note of caution, it's best to roll it out with two people bc it's rolled tightly and it's VERY stiff. The grip spikes on the underside really hurt too lol. Gloves would have been a good idea but that's 20/20 hindsight talking. Had to lay it out with weights on the corners overnight to keep it flat. Overall happy with the quality and it's doing the job well.

Mat is great for under chairs.
This product was exactly what I was looking for. It works perfectly under my chair. The only problem I had was that it is taking a while to flatten out. This is not the problem with it. The mat came rolled up and will just take time to flatten out. Shipping was fast and product is very durable.

Does the job
It took quite some time to properly unfold. Even after unfolding the edges still keep turning a bit so make sure you put solid weights all around the first 2-3 days to let it unfold completely. After that it makes it easy for chair to move around.

Prefect fit
Fit perfectly in my office space and came before expected. Thick and does the trick. Update.... my chat wheel went right through the plastic.

Useless. Shipped tightly rolled and can’t be unrolled
I would give this zero stars if I could. Mat came so tightly rolled up it’s ridiculous. Tools 2 of us to unroll it as the mat takes on a life of its own and attacks with those pointy sharp grippers and refuses to lay flat. Unrolled it finally and literally covered it in weights overnight. Next afternoon it still rolled. Two is just spent an hour in the garage with a heat gun and it’s not as rolled but still doesn’t lay flat. Way too much effort to put into a mat - can’t send it back because I’d never get it back into the carton - useless piece of plastic. Will be heading to Staples to buy a flat one. Don’t waste your money.
