It’s a good skimmer for the price. It’s all plastic, so if you wanted to get a lot of leaves at once ( or we’re taking them off of a winter cover) it might not be strong enough. But for everyday use it’s ok.

This is exactly what we were looking for. Lightweight, sturdy enough, and holes large enough to skim easily. Other skimmer nets have such small holes it’s impossible to skim quickly and easily. If skimming cottonwood this skimmer will let the water flow through instead of cleaning net every scoop. Holes small enough for skimming sweet gum seeds and collecting roly polys. Great skimmer.

I’ve had this pool net a while and I love it! I’ve gone through several flat pool nets in the past and hesitated to buy this one, as I thought it was just for leaves. I have a screened in pool so leaves are not an issue. This is by far the best net I’ve had for fishing out bugs, pool toys, goggles and small debris at the bottom of the pool and it’s a breeze to skim the top of the water and everything is collected in the net. I highly recommend it to anyone with a pool.
