These are great. Makes cleaning out the skimmer basket so much easier. I just put it on and when it’s time to clean the basket I just pull it off and throw it out and put in a new one. The cotton from my trees would get into all the holes in the basket and wind around them and was so hard to remove. This solved that problem.

Can’t be without this product. Works great to gather pollen from the pool. We use throughout the year but especially need to have during the spring and summer months. It catches the smallest of particles and prevents those particles being filtered into our pool machinery.

We have Queen palms near the pool, that like to shed their seed husks (not sure that is what the pear shaped paper thin things are but that is what I call them). Most of them either stick to the tile on the sides of the pool and other sink to the bottom to be sucked up by the vacuum once a week. Some however, make it past the skimmer and into the pool filters. I had to pull the pool filters twice in the same month following high windy storms, and the majority of crap that I cleaned out of them was the seed husks. I saw some skimmer socks at the local pool shop and thought I could get by with some kitchen cheese cloth (the bandage-like material that you use to filter gravy and other cooking uses). When I could not get the cloth to stay on in fear of it getting sucked into the pump I decided to it was time to try them and quit being so cheap. The fit is good and filtering quality is better than I expected. The socks are catching some of the smaller things that only the pool filters have been left to catch. The water is visibly clearer now that I am using the skimmer socks! One glitch I did not expect is I had to buy a different skimmer basket that has a heavier weight to hold the basket down if the pump is not running. In other words, the skimmer basket was floating with a sock on it, when the pump is not running. Once the pump is on, the basket would settle back down. The new skimmer basket has a heavier weight that keeps the basket down.

This is a great purchase for unground pool skimmer. Works great.

My pool had a lot of pine needles and filter was clogging. I read about these and decided to try them. They work great at catching the debris and are easy to change. You get quite a few for the money.

These are so convenient. I replace both skimmer socks every morning before the filter comes on. My filter basket is clean, nothing gets through except sand. I'm for anything that can make my day easier.
