Great Keto-friendly smoothie addition
I use this for my morning smoothie, blended with almond milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter, fiber oat powder and stevia. It keeps my hunger at bay and I am able to accomplish what I need for the day without worrying about nutrients. Very satisfied with this product as it is virtually tasteless, so it blends in to so many recipes without being overbearing. Highly recommend if you are searching for a protein source low in carbs and high in protein for a KETO-friendly diet.

Makes my oatmeal better
I tried a brand of oatmeal from the grocery store named for a type of brown bear, it is fortified with pea protein. It tasted nice and there was no crash, but it is also very expensive and contains more sugar than I'd like. So I found this on Amazon, and just roll my own. I put a tablespoon in per serving. It is important to whisk the powder into the water thoroughly before it is added to the oatmeal, otherwise you'll have a bunch of not so great tasting lumps. Once blended properly and cooked in, I can for sure taste something a touch different than 'normal' oatmeal (the store bought stuff was the same) but it isn't unpleasant. One of my favorite breakfasts, you can a big pot to last several days (freezes well too!) with whatever fruit is in season.

Great for the health purist
This stuff is great! I can't digest the more mainstream protein powders so I go for the pure pea protein. I used to get it at Trader Joe's but then I found this brand online and for 12.49 for 1.5 pounds you simply can't beat that price. I've purchased this same one 2 or 3 times now. To the people complaining about taste - You are ordering pure pea protein, so I'm not sure what you would expect. In my opinion the taste is very mild. Sure, it doesn't froth up quite like whey protein does, but that's because it doesn't have additives and it blends just fine into smoothies/ shakes regardless. I have even done some baking with it as well (again, not like whey protein, but there's a reason you're not purchasing that stuff in the first place). It comes in a bag so I usually dump it into a re-used old jar to store it.

Usually Great Organic Pea Protein
Iโve got this a few times in the past and have been pleased with the taste, texture, and ability to fairly easily mix with water or milk. Unfortunately, the last batch seemed to really drop off in quality. I bought 2 of them, and both of them basically exploded with a plume of powder when opened. The powder getting everywhere also made it somewhat hard to close because the powder got in the grooves of the track that you use to close it, making it so that I had to fold over the flap and use a clip. I couldโve got past that and chalked it up to rough handling in transport, but then when I tried to mix it, the stuff basically foamed up into bubbles and was undrinkable (think of drinking shaving cream). Not only was the texture completely off, but I tried to drink the foam anyway, and it tasted a bit rancid. Keep in mind that Amazon doesnโt allow returns on this, just like many other food items, so I basically just lost my money. Iโm going to pour this into my compost pile outside, but it certainly isnโt fit for consumption. I really liked this product in the past as itโs hard to find organic pea protein, but Iโm going to have to think twice before ordering from this supplier again.

Amazing Protein. Amazing Price.
I'm a bodybuilder that recently started eating a vegan diet, and this protein has been a fantastic replacement for whey protein. This stuff doesn't have any extra chemicals or additives, so it does taste bad. I mash up two bananas in a bowl and mix in 30g of this stuff to create a delicious protein banana pudding (note that using 1 banana will not completely hide the pea flavor, which is nasty imho). Also, the serving size indicates that a tablespoon weighs about 10g, but I found it only weighs about 7g using my calibrated food scale. If you're finicky about this kind of stuff, make sure to find your own "scooper" such that it meets the grams of powder you need to reach your goals. Oh, and the fact that you can get almost 5 pounds for $30 bucks is a steal! Whey protein costs twice as much and is loaded with extra crap you don't need. And "naked whey" is a complete hustle at $90 for a 5 lb bottle.

OK but clumps
I was wanting to try a new protein that was plant based, so my perspective is from Whey Protein Isolate. The flavor is very neutral and pleasant. However, the texture is slightly grainy (not as bad as rice protein though) and what I like the least is how much it clumps. Even while using a very powerful blender, it still clumps together. Perhaps it would be good for baked goods, but shakes/smoothies not so good.

AMAZING Vegan Protein
Disclaimer: I am not vegan, but my diet is plant-centric. I try to eat all organic/single-ingredient foods. Most vegan proteins I've tried are a blend of different protein sources: rice, quinoa, etc. I don't do well with grains, and even though I can tolerate/digest whey, it's not helpful when it comes to my tendency toward sinus infections--makes me stuffy and it's annoying more than anything. This product is ONE ingredient, which is a huge deal for me, and for 148 calories I get 32 grams of protein! I add it to a smoothie every morning, and usually bring extra to put in soup at lunch. So, by noon, I've already had over 60 grams of protein, which is what my body needs/wants. I've also put it in homemade peanut butter chocolate bars. Great product all around. I've recommended it to multiple people. Its superfine texture is perfect for quick dissolution in foods, and again, I love that it's one ingredient. I will order this forever! Don't ever change it!
