Under Armour Women's Play Up 2.0 Shorts

Okay- this is from a thick thigh girl. I hate shorts but I get so overheated working out that I finally broke down and purchased these. I knew I did NOT want shorts with those stupid bulky elastic waist that just add weight to the waist and these are some of the very few that have a flattery flat elastic waist- thank you, Under Armour. Why aren't they all made like this? Who wants more fabric bunched up around their waist?! Anyway...I have major thigh rub that is never going to go away so when I say I don't wear shorts, I mean it. I hate them usually. But these shorts have just the right amount of loose leg opening that they do not rub and then creep up into my lady parts. Thank you again, UA.I only wish I had bought 6 pairs instead of only 2 b/c now most of them are sold out. I don't like the 2 colored ones b/c I think that just adds the appearance of more weight around your thighs- and again- I know about thick thighs so I'm speaking from experience.I'd like to see more of the solid colors made (don't care what color the brand name is on the waist) but just the solid color on the shorts part I would like as one color. Hope more are made available if possible.Total deal for $15 for 2 pairs!Size is spot on. I wear a sz 6 pant and got mediums. Not snug and not loose at waist. Perfect for working out.Also, these are NOT so short that my behind shows to everyone in the gym when I'm bending over. Many, many thanks, UA. Some of us do not want to show all of that off and still prefer to be somewhat modest at the gym.A+++++ on these shorts.

I’m only giving 3 stars because of the trouble with the listing/ unexpected color sent, the wrong photo shown.. NOT the overall shorts, which the quality and style is very, very good! Just to clarify. ********That’s why I went middle of the road with 3 stars.********I ordered the black and turquoise color for my older daughter. At least that is the photo of it up on this listing, so I bought it, and yesterday I see one of my twins running around the house in a pair of black and orange shorts. They weren’t even meant for her, but she tore the packages open. (No shocker there.) I was highly confused, as I knew I did NOT buy some black and orange color shorts. It took me some time to figure out, that those were from this listing, and the photo clearly shows a black pair of shorts with a turquoise color, so you THINK that is what you are getting, right? WRONG! If you look more closely underneath, it says peach/plasma, but the photo is anything but.So be warned, although they are pretty, they are not what I expected, and you will get the wrong colored shorts if you go by the photo of the black/turquoise pair. It will be black with peach/ plasma (like a fluorescent orange color.)I just wanted to let you all know this, so you don’t get shocked like myself, but I’ve been buying these shorts lately for all of my girlies, and they just adore them!! Looks like the quality will last them for years to come.We love under armour, but they need to revise their listing!! Evening this out to 3 stars, overall.I hope my review has been helpful :).

So I’ll be honest because I know a lot of women need it. I’m 5’3” and 200 lbs at the moment... I used to be in shape so my fat to muscle ratio is about 55%/45% (meaning I don’t look my weight). So I’m pretty chunky right now. I purchased an XL in these shorts in black. I’m currently wearing them now as they are my favorite pants at the moment. They shrank a tiny bit in the dryer but they still fit great and I feel comfortable and confident out in public. These do not have the underwear lining but I personally like that. The waist band is pretty stretchy which I love on some shorts! Also, they are cheaper on amazon then when I saw them in store in person, so that was a plus! I personally like to have my pants over my belly button and these shorts sit there nicely while still covering my cheeks lol. Also these shorts have pockets and can fit an iPhone. However my phone will fall out if I try to run with it in my pocket. The pockets are great for keys or some loose bills (I personally put dogs treats and poop baggies in them lol). After Christmas I definitely want to buy another pair. I hope my review helped!

I'm really liking these shorts. I bought 1 pair and after running in them, I bought a 2nd pair and am planning on buying more once it gets warmer. The pockets aren't that great if you're wanting to put your iPhone in there and run at the same time (while mine fit, it's not tight and would for sure fly right out of there if I tried running with them). But I suppose pockets are nice to have for something else, I use a running belt myself. The material is nice and good quality, as is the elastic waist. The only thing that really bothers me is the crotch has extra room in it, like what you would see in a man's shorts to accommodate their package...except girl's shorts obviously don't need any extra space there at all, so I'm not sure if it's a design flaw or if extra space is there to help with the pockets but it's a little weird. Also, I'm 5'8" 150 lbs and bought a Med but I think these run a bit big and I'm wondering if a small would work...I'm afraid to try it so I keep buying Mediums but I do believe these run large.

I bought these shorts in Large in Black/Radio Red for running and playing tough rugby in. The red is actually orange- just a warning for you! I was looking for some shorter shorts because I currently only own long almost-to-the-knee football/PE shorts and they are not the most flattering. I had been to Primark, Sports Direct and a few other shops trying on shorts but I found that the running shorts were actually very very short or knee length. I also didn't want anything too tight because I normally wear leggings underneath. Eventually, I found these in Sports Direct (I tried on 9 different shorts in sizes 14-18, M-XL) and loved them. They are a great fit- not too short, not too long, nice and loose. I had a quick look on Amazon and at £9.98 were actually cheaper to buy than in Sports Direct.The above is not a good photo of me! I had just finished a 5k obstacle course race. I was worried the patches of colour would accentuate my hips too much but in the photo above, even though my t shirt is curled up, the shorts still don't look bad at all. I would recommend these shorts.

These are one the best purchases I've ever made. The quality, shape and durability is top class. I have a big bum so I was expecting them to ride up on the back or not protect the inner thigh when running but these have been designed really well I've had no issues whatsoever. Will be looking to purchase more from this brand. Under armour and puma seem to be the only quality brands about at the moment.

They are fine but I was hoping for something more lightweight. These are surprisingly thick material, although it does wick sweat. They have pockets for my phone, so an extra star for that alone (why does womens workout gear never have pockets?)! Usual Under Armour fit which is a little on the large side but if you know your size in this brand it should be true to that.

These are now the comfiest shorts I own! They are so comfortable that I have bought another pair. Initially I purchased them for playing tennis, but I also wear them at the gym and while lounging about in the house. They are a decent length (they do ride up the thigh a bit however when sat down). But if you’re a little conscious like I am about the back of my thighs, these shorts are a flattering style.

I really love wearing this on top of my leggings while jogging to make sure no attention is drawn to my buttocks or a potential.. u know.. camel toe, that sort of thing 🙈 Looks lovely and I got a lot of nice comments when wearing it to the gym as well 👍🏻
