Lotos PCS22 Plasma Cutter Consumables Sets for Brown Color LTP5000D and Brown Color LTPDC2000D (22 Pieces)

These were of good quality and fit my Lotos plasma cuter just fine. I would buy again no problem and would recommend them. If I were to pick something that could be improved I would say, it would be nice if they were shipped in a little resealable/storage container of some sort. The plastic packaging they send them in isn’t meant to store the extras at all and there are lots of tips here. Definitely not a deal breaker, just plan to remove them from manufacturing packaging completely and store in a different container of some sort.

These are sold along side of the lotos ltp5500dcnc plasma cutter but they are not compatible with it. There do not appear to be any comparable consumables sold in Canada

I purchased the 77 piece set because the smaller sets are just too expensive. I have always cut with acetylene/oxygen torch so this is my first time with a plasma torch. Consumables last longer as I learn to master the this process. Regarding the review with the cone that caught on fire, I don't know what that material is, mine are ceramic with pressed in brass threads. The brass threads are the only difference than the set that came on the machine. Have already made several cuts with new consumables and it cuts exactly the same as OEM. Ground is critical to the process. No plasma cutter will perform well with poor ground. I removed the cover on mine and removed the ground screw (which was not super tight), filed off the powder coat under it and reinstalled the ground screw very tight. I had about 30 feet of #2 ground cable lying around so I made a new ground cable the same length as the torch. I replaced the ground clamp with the HF 2nd tier ground clamp (actually a decent clamp). You must always check the connections throughout the ground before cutting and then once a year or so depending on how much you use it. The hardware on the HF clamp was loose on both sides. Basically, make a couple of small cuts, shut the machine off and feel all your ground connections for heat. If any of them are warm-hot, that is a poor connection and must be resolved.

The set was a little pricey, so I gave it 4 stars, but the cutter is great and was a good deal. Balances out. Cheaper to buy the 77 piece set.
