Twist Erase III Mechanical Pencil, 0.5mm, Black Barrel, Pack of 3

Used several mechanical pencils over the years. This is the best I've found.

I love these pencils. I use them to draw and just to write. They are so comfortable bin my hand but have a great look. Highly recommend

These are the best mechanical pencils on the market. As a bookkeeper, both pencil and the erasers are good quality and last a long time!

Perfect pencil. For all the reasons everybody has said. One less noticeable great thing about this pencil is that it dispenses lead at the right length. This is important because with 0.5mm on other pencils you can get too much lead in a single click and it’ll break. Perfect.

PENTEL - PLEASE READ! The pencils are great. They are comfortable in my hand and they mechanically work as they are designed to work. HOWEVER!!!! Even though these were packaged at the time of manufacture to ONLY be sold as a sealed package of four, Pentel seemed to think they needed to put bar code stickers on all four of them, individually. AND, they used a very persistent adhesive on the stickers. After fighting the packaging and spending way more time than what could make sense to remove the stickers, I then had to get out the GooGone to finally remove the adhesive on each of the pencils!! WHY?? They are in sealed packages of four!!! Pentel, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???

Convenient and easy to use. Not having to sharpen and with eraser, the best option for a pencil.

This mechanical pencil is awesome! The twist erase is great and i love the .5mm tip-- it's the best thickness. I'd recommend this mechanical pencil as it's comfortable to hold and writes great! Notes: -The body is plastic, grip is rubber like, and the tip and clip is metal. -each pencil comes with 2 pieces of lead -there are no spare erasers. Just one per pencil. HEADS UP: The sticker leaves a sticky residue after peeling it off. I used a strong piece of Duct Tape to pull it off (water and a paper towel did not work. It is not water soluble). I placed the Duct Tape over the sticky area and pulled it off (kind of like waxing hair). I did this multiple times to get rid of the stickiness and it only took a few minutes to do all 3 pencils (before and after picture shown).

These are great pencils for writing out math problems or doing simple sketching. I've been using them for years, and I do recommend them. The 0.5 size lead is good for math calculations; it's not too thick, and it's not so thin that it'll break easily, unless you pull out more lead than is necessary at one time. They are comfortable in the hand and reliable. The eraser is good in a pinch.
