Might save you hundreds of dollars
If your power steering unit is leaking due to your vehicle's age and it has dried-up seals, this product might save you a lot of money. One vehicle in our family is over 20 years old and started developing a leak. After two bottles, we have noticed that the leak has slowed significantly. It might not stop altogether because of how old the power steering unit is, but it's slowed enough that it probably makes more sense to $40 per year on this fluid than $400-800 on a repair or replacement power steering unit. With another bottle, it might even stop altogether. It was worth a try for me.

WORKS LIKE MAGiC
THIS STUFF WORKS. I had a grinding sound from the power steering pump on my 2008 Kia Sedona van. since this is a vane pump I was hearing he vanes making noise and the steering cold was stiff and a little jerky. I emptied out the fluid in the pump as best as I could and replaced it with the Lucas Power Steering stop leak- 12 ounces. fter cycling the steering from lock to lock while slowly at a crawl driving forward, the steering was back to normal, silent and smooth as it should be. I recommend this as a fluid replacement using the procedure I have described here if you experience noise from the pump.

This Worked Great
This stuff really worked! My truck had been sotting for a long time and I think the seals may have been compromised. The fluid was leaking out and I though it may be a line or the rack or the pump. I tried a lesser product first with "stop leak" in it and it all drained out. I have used Lucas Products before like the injector cleaner and always has been a good product. This stop my leak and fixed the whining pump. I would use it again for sure

Worth trying.
This product improves your power steering performance almost immediately! The oil leak tho, not so much. I will still recommend it as my steering has never felt smoother or soft to the touch.

This completely stopped the slow power steering fluid leak from my 2006 Acura MDX.
I bought my "almost like new" 2006 Acura MDX in 2017 with 158,000 miles for just $5,800 which was an amazing deal for such a reliable vehicle. The only issue it had was a very slow power steering leak and a strange glitch with the steering where it would sometimes quickly oscillate between very hard and then very easy to turn the wheel. I took my chances and did a full flush of the power steering fluid including 2 bottles of Honda P/S fluid and just one bottle of Lucas Stop Leak power steering fluid. (Even though I bought two bottles, I only needed one.) I did this back in 2018 and the vehicle now has 218,000 miles. It hasn't lost a single drop of power steering fluid since then and the steering seems like new to me. Obviously, I'm very pleased with this purchase and how much money I saved by not having to replace any power steering components.

Didnt help my situation
My hard line going into my rack has a small leak on my wrx. Its a pain to replace so thought id try this…didnt do anything. The hard line is a metal on metal fusion seal. Think this is only for rubber type gasket leaks.

Brilliant Stuff, I emptied the Power steering oil from reservoir and filled 100-120ml of this oil in it, turned the steering few times lock to lock and within few minutes, the steering got light and no noises during slow speed turns. I had heavy steering, and a minor leak as well, this oil resolved heavy steering and minor leak issues. Highly recommend this oil for any car, since power steering repairs involving racks, pinions, ball joints etc can be very costly. Hope the effect stays for next few years!!!
