I bought these for my bourbon-drinking guests and knew I'd never have the patience to fill a tray with tiny holes and a funnel. These fill easily and stack easily in the freezer. The balls are a little tough to pop out at first, but waiting a minute after they're out of the freezer helps, and after a little practice it got easier. Fun for the party.

Great size ice cubes for bourbon! Can be a little tricky to fill and not to over in freezer

Tried several sizes and this one was perfect for both cold & hot drinks (like making iced tea with fresh hot tea). Others melted sooo much faster and this size held up really well. Operation is straight forward & the spoon makes taking out the ice balls much easier. Overall, very happy with purchase.Removal Tip: Put them into a shallow tray with about 1" of warm water for about 2-3 minutes. Ice balls come out much easier than fighting them straight out of the freezer.

These work just great. The fact that they have a flat bottom makes them much easier to use than any other ones I have used. You don’t have to worry about them rolling over in the freezer before they’re frozen.

I thought because they’re silicone that they’d be easy to remove. I’ve tried to fill with warm and cold water, nothing seems to help. They are very hard to remove the ice from. I will say once you get the ice out they’re nice even spheres.

I was amazed at how nice and round the ice balls comes out of mold and they last a long time in your glass.

I already had another round ice cube tray (bought here on amazon rather cheap) that makes 6 round ice "cubes" at a time. I bought these to experiment with making CLEAR ice balls. What I've done is removed the flat piece off the bottom, drilled a 1/4" hole up through the rounded portion. Then I put the mold inside a travel mug. The mold floats in the mug full of water, the hole in the bottom of the mold allows the mold to fill. Then I put the whole thing in the freezer (I don't put the lid on the travel mug) overnight. When I take it out of the freezer, I leave the travel mug upside down in the sink until the ice melts enough for the whole block of ice (with the mold still frozen in it) to fall out of the travel mug. This takes another 4 hours or so. You can hurry up this part of the process by putting the mug in a pot of hot water (right-side up of course). Once you've got the ice out, you can run it under lukewarm water until you can extract the mold from the block of ice. Open the mold and you've got a clear ice ball. Tedious, but it works.

Wenn man mal die Kugel raus bekommt, schaut die Kugel ja nicht schlecht aus. Ohne das man mit heißen Wasser abschwemmt ist es unmöglich die Kugel raus zu bekommen, auch das abspülen mit heißen ist kein Garant das die Kugel gut raus bekommt, ist ja auch nicht sinnvoll da man damit Wasser umsonst verschwendet! Ich versuchte es nach dem abspülen auch mit dem Messerhandrücken abklopfen, da brach mir gleich ein Stück von der Kunststoffform heraus und kann mit dieser Form nichts mehr anfangen! Für mich eigentlich die Zwei Sterne nur weil die Kugel schön groß ist und sehr langsam schmilzt. Eine Kaufempfehlung kann ich leider an dieser Stelle nicht abgeben, ich würde mir dies sicher nicht noch einmal kaufen! Für mich eine fehl Investition.
