I think these are slightly undersized, but not as bad as I initially thought the company was excellent in refunding me and not even making me return the product, for which I now feel a little guilty. When I first tried to use them they didn't fit my dog the velcro barely reached I don't know if he's lost some weight I haven't re-measured him, but it seems if I wiggle the wrap around as I'm tightening it I am able to get the entire velcro to secure on him now. I wish there were an address so I could pay for the product after all, as now many months later, I think I WILL be able to use it as my dog gets worse now. It's possible that I got an undersized one mixed in, but he's wearing one of them that just barely closes fully engaging the velcro.MINIMIZE CLEANING: purchase one package of the disposable wraps, line them with 4"X 6" swatches cut from disposable TRAINING PADS, and then wrap these permanent reusable wraps around those two and your disposable wraps might last a week or more if your dog only drips/leaks, and you won't have to wash stinky reusable wraps very often, and they'll only have a fraction of the urine.This will make each disposable wrap last until the velcro wears off, after which time you can cut off and discard the disposables velcro, and still use the highly absorbent disposable Male wrap pad up to a week or more if your dog just drips and the swatches of disposable training pad catch it, so the only thing you're replacing daily are these little single swatches, about 1/16th of a training pad, and you only rarely have to wash the permanent reusable wrap. If your dog has major leakage, this will give you additional absorption with the swatch, the disposable diaper, and finally your reusable wrap.

While I liked these male dog diapers at first - good fit, absorbent for small leaks, well made, and stays on, they are difficult to hand wash to completely remove the pee from them. I suppose it's because the absorbent layers are so thick. And, while that's a good thing, it made them hard to get the pee smell out of them, even with an enzymatic spray cleaner.10/21/2017I've decided to update my review to 5 stars. This is because I've discovered that I'm ending up using these instead of the thinner kinds of belly bands due to the fact that with the thinner bands, my dog can still pee over those. I replaced the thin towel-like pad in the thin ones with 3 layers of SHAM-WOW drying cloths, hoping that would work out better with absorption. The bands were still thin and not bulky. But, because they're thin, they were apt to bunch up, revealing the tip of my dog's junk. And, even if his junk wasn't exposed, he was still able to pee over the edge of the band.So, I went back to using these with FAR more success. They look bulky, almost like actual baby diapers. But, the added room in them keeps them from bunching up and pee coming out.No, I still can't hand wash all the pee out. I'm gonna order more so I can have a decent rotation of these diapers in the laundry and on the dog.

My dog is very old and just doesn't have the control he used to. Oftentimes he will go at the moment he tells us he needs to so we have started using wraps on him. I was not thrilled with creating so much waste with the disposables, so I got these. They are so cute and made nicely and fit him well. However, since he has accidents every day, he soils them quickly and they don't wick away from him. When he wears these his belly is wet when I remove it, unlike with the disposables. Also, it should say somewhere on the package that you should velcro them together if you are going to throw them in the wash, because if you don't the velcro will pick up and stick to everything else in the wash with it!

The product is very well made. But it doesn't work for my little senior doggie. It was way too big for his frail and diminishing body. Otherwise I liked it and would use it if it worked for my little doggie.

Our little 8 lb dog rolls over and sprays like a little skunk when he gets excited or thinks he’s in trouble. This is a game changer! No more pee sprays all over my house! Very strong Velcro, he can wiggle as much as he wants and it won’t come off. Easily washable, I Velcro it inside-out and throw in the wash. We bought XSmalls for him, he’s 8.5 lbs.

I rescued a 10 yr old maltese that had to be rehomed due to death of his owner. He is devastated. He is having a very difficult time adjusting to his "new" normal. I already have 2 other dogs....so there have been some issues. He has been marking EVERYTHING. I couldn't let him leave my sight because of his territorial marking. I was at a loss. I did not think it was going to work for our family.... TILL I discovered the doggie diapers. These have been a game changer. I can not recommend these enough. They are very well made. Very cute patterns. They are comfortable for him. He does not mind wearing them at all. I remove them when I take him outside to do his business... and when back in the house... he puts his "pants" back on. They do not leak. They have caught every drop of urine. They wash and dry well. Thank you IN HAND for such an amazing product. I can not praise these enough.

My dog had gotten sick and was unable to hold his bladder. This definitely aren't absorbent enough to be used alone, but using really absorbent products then this over them worked great. They helped hold the liners/pads in place and caught any minor leaks. They stick very well, like you really have to apply pressure to separate the velcro so they aren't coming off unexpectedly. They were always washed in the machine, I just secured the velcro together when washing and they always turned out fine. I had purchased several kinds but these were the ones I always went to.
