I was pleasantly surprised that this dimmer works so well with my house architecture. I use it to control a string of 50 LED Edison lightbulbs. It is mounted outside and has endured many hard rains without issue. The dimmer does a great job and is rated up to 400 Watts... far more than what I need. To make this work with Alexa, you have to initially use their app to set up the lights and associate the device with your WIFI network. Once that is done, you probably wont have to touch their app again... although it isnt bad. I put this on an Alexa schedule... On at 30 minutes after sunset and off at 11PM. No fails and I really like how easy it is. A good way to automate things that you would otherwise not be able to.

Have this at my camper and it works great. The app is easy to use and the timer function great. Our outside lights are on if we get back late and go off automatically to ensure our lights are not bothering others all night.

Prompt delivery, but the device is very obviously used and is defective. I understand how these things happen, but it would have been very easy for amazon to see this filthy returned item and not have sold it as NEW.After receiving a replacement unit, I revised this review from 1 star to 5 stars because this seems to be a GREAT dimmer. I use the Tuya integration with Home-Assistant and this device integrates flawlessly. The Bluetooth ability of this dimmer made it probably the fastest device I have ever added to Tuya. I plugged in the dimmer, loaded the Tuya app on my phone, and 'new device' showed up as available to add.I highly recommend this product.

When it’s Christmas light season, I prefer to let Alexa figure out when the lights should be turned off and on. Finding myself in need of an outdoor, weatherproof, and WiFi-connected plug, I tried this little guy.Nearly three years later, it’s my go-to for controlling my outdoor Christmas lights. Between seasons, it sits in a box in my cold garage, but still works well at the beginning of each season. Not only that, but it even remembers WiFi information between seasons! Some IoT devices completely fail this test.My only complaint is that one year it was extremely difficult getting the devices to connect (though weirdly the next year I had zero issues). My WiFi bubble stretches far beyond my house, but it’s likely there was some dead spot in the particular cubic meter where the plugs were.However, I would recommend this product. It’s durable and works flawlessly once connected.

Set up to run my deck lighting and it works great with the app and also works great with my Alexa echo. A+

This switch is awesome! Just a few, random connectivity issues so far, but... that doesn't really impact me for my purposes. BUT...I want to append to the review by "J. Salmi" in using Smart Life or Minoston app. After installing either app, I still could not get the bluetooth working for automatic adding. On my Galaxy S20 Android phone, I went into the settings for each app and found that "Nearby Devices" was not being allowed. NO IDEA why neither app didn't default this or ask me to do so. Once I manually allowed the permission of "Nearby Devices", each app immediately identified and installed this Plug entry. (note that you can only use 1 of these apps as the other will have the entry removed). Thanks J. Salmi for your help in spite of all that frustration! :)

Very, very early to set up with one caveat - they don’t seem to compatible with 5G, but look as though they are. The switch will try to connect to whatever WiFi access point your phone is connected to during setup from the phone app, but, since that do not seem to support 5G, the connection will fail. Slower connections work fine and are solid. Switches work well, seem rugged, and are an amazing bargain for the price.

I've never done an Amazon review so fast, but there's a reason: I got this this morning in the mail and opened and connected it within only a few minutes. There's a nice quick instructions with just a few pages. I was already close to do the normal WiFi set-up, but then noticed the Quick-Fit Bluetooth connect hint. First I thought this was instead of the Wifi connection, but it's just the set-up and it's much easier than the full WiFi set-up. The connection has been established in seconds and already works outside in my patio. The Dimming is great and it looks it has good connectivity, even though it's not too far away from the router, but some other smart plugs had their problems at this location, but not this one. So for me it's actually working absolute perfect, it looks sturdy, it's small and easy to connect, but there's just one thing: the scheduling (which is actually pretty easy to do) cannot be used to change the dimming level. So you can't have a schedule for the morning with low light and one for the evening with stronger light. The dimming can be changed within the app easily and even with google assistant and Alexa, but definitely not in the schedule so it will turn on in the schedule with the last dimming level it had before - whatever it was. It would be great if they could add this feature in the future and then it would be absolutely perfect.

Funciona muy bien, aunque su app no es tan intuitiva para programar automatizaciones

Lo compre para utilizarlo con Alex y me llevo la sorpresa de que ya no funciona con Alexa, ya se eliminó la Skill.
