Rey 6Pit Cherry Pitter-kitchen good helper,Can help you easily removes pits from Cherries & Olives（red）

I didn't know they had pitters til someone saw my red fingers from cherry juice.So I watched the YouTube video on how to do this just to familiarize myself On the action part.This pitter is very very easy, I made a few adjustments to tray placement and it worked amazing!!!! I like it better and find there is less mess if the cherrys are cold. ( fun fact: wash cherries and keep them in a air tight container or zip baggie, when cherries are put in pitter, they will have less juice coming out all over the place and will stay more fresh) I also read this machine works with olives. If you look at the picture I uploaded you'll see the holes it makes in the cherry when done.The only bad thing about this (but would not stop me from recommending it ) is that sometimes the pit doesn't go all the way thru. So to make sure this doesn't happen I pick up the cherry and blow air thru, if the air doesn't go thru it might have missed the pit and not pushed it completely thru.Note: after your done extracting make sure you rinse in water because cherry juice tends to be very slticky.I locked the machine when done for storage and safety. The metal blades/teeth are sharp, locking it will avoid any accidents.This has saved so much time and mess! I really loved it. We only get cherries for a very short time and this is SO worth it to buy!

I like how easy this is to use. I would have gave 5 stars if it didn’t get stuck as much after pushing the pits out. When lifting the top back up you want to grab the handle that the cherries are in and when you do the cherries kind of pop out because it’s not really secure. Clean up is easy, rinse right when finished. Does what it’s suppose to and doesn’t take up too much space.

We bought this on a whim thinking it would probably not work that well. We were really thrilled to find the cherry pitter works great. Occasionally, it will miss pitting a cherry, but overall, it has been a blessing!
