I have been suffering from severe low back, and hip, sciatica pain, for about 2 years, more extreme and constant the last 3 weeks, taking all forms of oral pain relief available over the counter & prescribed, I knew I needed to Ice the pain in order to reduce inflammation, Now, Icing pain sounds easy, except that it requires forcing yourself to stop and sit down or lay down, to stop moving, stop doing ( whatever needs to be done, I mean who else is gonna do it? ) in a home of 6 children, and a business to run, on top of the normal day to day chaos that is my life, there is no room for down time,I wanted something large enough to cover both sides of my back / hip area so that I could ice both sides of my hips / low back at once and not have to juggle a smaller ice pack, moving here and there trying to reach all of the tender spots, this one is large! It covers hip to hip, one side features a very soft and plush velvet fabric, that prevents ice burn, if you use this side against your skin, you can place the ice pack directly on your skin, and even colder to the touch soft vinyl ( like life jacket fabric- very heavy duty) on the other side, It has an instruction manual that states if you use the ice pack with vinyl side against skin, you should place a cloth between yourself and the ice pack as to not create an ice burn)Belt is aprox 3" wide heavy elastic and velcro, a nice and extremely comfortable adjustable belt to strap it around yourself, no matter where your injury or pain is!I love this! Best health and Happiness investment i have made this year!So worth it to be able to continue getting some work done and also have true pain relief that lasts for hours!I will be buying several more, just so I have a back up on hand if anyone else in the family needs one.One for the first aid boxOne for the camperAnd definitely one for my husband's ( weekly! ) sports injuries.

This ice pack is perfect. Very cold, but still conforms to your body (I use it on my knee). Two sides - one buffers the ice if you are putting it directly on skin so you don't need a cloth layer, the other side is pure ice if you are using it over a layer of cloth. The velcreo strips are nice an long and work well.

The design and fit is good but not great. I have problems with my shoulder and it is hard for me to use this wrap without alot of help. Once it is on, it works great and does a good job of applying cold or heat to my shoulders. I have a fairly large chest, male, and the stretch belt that goes around from the back to the front under the opposite arm is very hard to get completely around and fastened. It takes both me and my wife several times to get it to stay. The other wrap hat secures the other end toyour upper arm is also impossible to to alone. It is easier to wrestle 2 cats into a bucket of water, lol.With that said, this product does the best job for applying cold or heat to my shoulders. No more fighting to keep a bag on my shoulder or having to sit still, afraid to move and loose the bag. For me, it is worth the effort to put on. My wife may have a different opinion. She prefers the bag, less effort for her but with a bag I have to sit still, not move or do anything.

Ordered this for post op use. The side against your body is soft but it’s heavy and doesn’t stay cold for long. As it warms up it drips water. Would not re purchase.

I am so happy that I bought this product I use it almost every day as needed and it really helps. It is easy to use it wraps around stays in place comfortable and I can walk around with the product wrapped around my leg. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs comfort and help in anyway that requires an ice pack. It freezes fast it’soft to the skin you could make it loose or tight however you feel comfortable.. I highly recommend it and I hope it helps you like it helps me.
