Versatile and Sturdy **UPDATED 02/22/19**
I've had my desk for only a few hours and LOVE it! I'd researched various portable tables for weeks before deciding to try this one and I am quite happy with my choice thus far. I purchased the yellow one. I would have preferred the red but this was the only color available when I purchased it. I thought the yellow would be quite bright and garish but the color is more like a burnished gold due to it being aluminium. So, this pleased me.I am not very mechanically inclined and it was super easy for me to adjust it in many different positions. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. However... I have no idea how to adjust the mouse pad on this model. This was not covered in the instructions. Also the USB cord for the fans was missing. From reading many prior reviews, this company appears to have a very good record of customer service so I am confident they will rectify this.It is surprisingly sturdy for being so light weight.I fractured my back in 3 places a couple months ago so I really needed something that would be quite versatile for varied use positions from sitting to lying in bed prone or propped. This more than fits the bill. Now, off to yet again attempt figure the mouse pad!EDIT: The company responded IMMEDIATELY to the issue of the missing USB cable AND explained how to adjust the mouse pad.***UPDATE*** I have now had this desk for almost one full year. I use it EVERY day and it is still going strong! The built in cooling fan is phenomenal. If I needed another I would not hesitate to purchase this from this company again. If I ever have the need to purchase this as a gift I will be back.

Stable: use every day
This is easy to line up because it gives the degree around the buttons so, as long as they're matched on each side, balance is good. It took me a little while to figure out the best and most comfortable couple of positions. The manufacturer sent a chart to show some favorites, but after I played with it a little while, I chose something more suited to me. I sit on the sofa and use my laptop for the majority of the day. At that level, I can adjust it so the tray holding my laptop is tilted (there's a lip that stops any sliding) and position the bottom with one leg towards me and the other in the opposite direction. This stabilizes it so that it doesn't tip forward or back. Plus, I have two cats so, if they walk under it, I don't have to worry about the whole thing coming down. The other position is on my lap. I haven't tried the fan since I have a chromebook that doesn't get hot. I've also used a regular laptop on it which does heat up a bit but I still didn't need the fan. I also haven't adjusted the mouse tray and I do have a mouse with a grip on the bottom so it doesn't slide because there is no lip to stop a cheaper mouse (minus the grips). One CAUTION (Sharp metal): the underside edging is sharp in some places so don't run your fingers along it.

ok - but not 100% satisfied.
So far so good. But I just started using it last night.I was initially mystified by the two black plastic clips. I had no idea what they were for, until I saw the picture in your email. There should be a picture of them in place on the stand, included on the instruction sheet, as it is in this email. That would be helpful.I paid the extra money for the mouse rest, but I only got a flimsy slotted attachable one. Not the nice built-in one as the picture showed. Also, it desperately needs just one more length of bendable legs. It falls short of being an effective tool to use while seated at the couch or living-room chair, with its legs resting on the floor...And that was the soul purpose of my purchase.And...not that it absolutely NEEDS it...but it sure would be nice to have...that last length of bendable legs be able to be twisted flat as well as bend vertically so that the leg can be made flat to slip under the chair or couch. This way you can get really comfortable by allowing the tray to get as close to you as possible while you sit all the way back in the chair or couch. Although, if I had the extra length of bendable legs, perhaps I would have been able to figure out a way to do that without that extra length needing to be twisted flat. All in all, I'm not 100% satisfied. But I am satisfied enough that I wont be returning it.That said, I also agree with the following:---My computer getting too hot from resting on the blanket. Now i solved that problem.---LOVED it that it's ultra lightweight.---It folds up very, very thin. I can slip this under anything.
