Soap making is something I've been interested in doing and I think this book is a good place to start!

We all know home made is better , and that includes the soaps we use.This is a handy little book full of recipes for different home made soaps, I have not made my own soaps yet, as the lye part is intimidating to me since we rescue animals and I have no "safe" area I could use. but there are other recipes in this book that do not use lye and I fully expect I will be making some of them this year! I will try the clear base soaps first I think, then work up to the more intricate recipes.This book is great in that it give a detailed step by step instruction for each type of soap.

This is a fun and interesting book on how to make homemade soap and what ingredients to use to make it healthy for your skin. There are soaps for skin health, that smell an look good and baby soaps. It is a pretty handy book to have if you want to make your own soap.
