Medical Terminology for Health Professions, Spiral bound Version (MindTap Course List): 9780357513699: Medicine & Health Science Books @ desertcart.com Review: Must need for a college class - I recently utilized *Medical Terminology for Health Professions* by Carol L. Schroeder and co-authors for my college course, and here’s my assessment. Pros: 1. Comprehensive Content: The book covers a wide range of medical terminology, making it an excellent resource for anyone studying health professions. Each section builds on the previous one, creating a solid foundation. 2. Clear Definitions: Terminologies are clearly defined with useful examples, which aids in understanding complex concepts. This clarity was particularly helpful for me as a beginner in the field. 3. Interactive Learning Tools: The inclusion of MindTap resources offers interactive exercises, quizzes, and additional reading materials, enhancing the learning experience significantly. Cons: 1. Dense Material: Some chapters can feel overwhelming due to the volume of information presented. It may require additional time and focus to digest fully. 2. Limited Illustrations: While the content is informative, the book could benefit from more visual aids or diagrams to support the text, particularly for visual learners. 3. Spiral Bound Drawbacks: Though the spiral binding is convenient for keeping the book open, it can make the pages easier to tear if handled too roughly. Overall Impression: *Medical Terminology for Health Professions* is a valuable asset for students pursuing a career in healthcare. Its thorough content, combined with clear definitions and interactive tools, makes it an effective learning resource. While some may find it a bit dense, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to enhance their understanding of medical terminology!P Review: Exact - Perfect for me and correct

Not only terms but also useful illustrations!
Great layout; spiral bound is convenient and informal. A reference that I’ll revisit many times. Illustrations throughout are a bonus. :)

Excellent but..
Through an organization, my class fee was to include books. It only included the online book version through Cengage, so I bought this physical book through Amazon. A few pages didn’t correctly get cut and folded inside the book, but the text was all visible. I previously took a college course over medical terminology, but I need this for a CCMA course that required their medical terminology course. I love the set up from this book better than my college course, because I felt this helps more before needing to take Anatomy and Physiology courses. Do I think this book was worth this price point? For my personal use, I am getting my money’s worth, because I feel extremely uneducated.

No Access Code /Poor Print Quality
No access code - this is a very important piece of information that must be included in the description. The first 10 pages were poorly copied/printed … they were very blurry.

Spiral Bound but in good condition
The book itself is very helpful in my Nursing Program. It's helped me with my studying. The book is a spiral bound so I have to be mindful as to not tear a page out easily. The picture on the item does not indicate that it's a spiral bound book. I'm not sure if there is another option to get this bound differently but everyone in my class who has this book has it as spiral bound. That may be the only way it comes though. The product came in great condition for being a used book. 5 Stars to the Seller.

Pésima impresión de más de 50 hojas. No se puede leer. Muy mal cengage por no controlar la calidad. Y además está carísimo! Ya no pude volver a comprarlo porque subió de precio.

Glad I was able to save money with a used textbook!

This feels like a cheap copy of an actual text book. I really wish I had read the reviews. I was just hoping to save some money. For an almost 200 textbook it feels like a real rip off. I an unsure to return it because my course starts soon.
