We have a West Highland Terrier (Franklin) who is a bundle of energy -- which makes bath time a struggle. I saw this tubbie a couple times & debated if was worth spending the money. Took the chance! It arrived on time. Franklin & I opened his new tubbie together. It was V E R Y easy even with my Westie stealing the packaging as it came off. He enjoyed the box as well! Yes there was a plastic chemical smell but it went away after the first bath. I took it to the shower room & set it up in less than a minute. Basically all you do is attach the legs! You'll also need to adjust the collar for the harness to fit your dog. Tighten the lead so your dog can't try to jump out. Plug the bottom & fill the tub. I used our walk-in shower detachable sprayer. It took some time to fill. I filled about halfway because Franklin is about 15lbs. I suggest securing the harness system back in the tub and fastening the dog collar part when he first gets in. I used the shower head very low to help wet him & rinse. He "talked to me" the whole time, voicing complaints about the harness system. He was very happy afterwards though because he zipped around, shaking the water off. He came back several times to watch me drain the water & wipe down the tub. I gave him treats afterwards also I let the tub dry over night in the shower & plan to put it outside in the sun to make sure it completely dries-- I think mildew might start to grow if it gets stored away even slightly wet Anyway that's my story! I love having the tub at waist level. The harness system is great-- no worries the dog will fall or squirm away I highly recommend!

This pet bath has made such a difference in bathing each of my 3 Schnauzers! They like it much better than the shower or tub and it 100% better on my back! Excellent value! Easy to move around. Durable and sturdy. Great design.

I’ve used this raised pet bathtub for a year now and it’s a game-changer. It works perfectly for me, and has held up well with regular use. My Cavalier King Charles is comfortable in it and I’m able to wash, condition and rinse him well with the help of the Sneat Up Pet Shower Hose. I use it in a walk in shower so the clean up is a breeze. It’s definitely paid for itself multiple times over by avoiding costly appointments with a groomer, to say nothing of avoiding the stress. I’m so glad I purchased this and enthusiastically recommend it as a great choice for bathing a small dog at home.

We've been using this awesome dog shower and brush attachment attached to a garden hose and our downstairs shower. It's always been great and allows to have a warm bath, making bath time much more tolerable. Between mosquitoes and heat index, or winter cold, the pups weren't getting the baths we want it. This tub fits perfectly into our shower tub in the basement. It came pre-assembled except for the bottom legs which just snap into place. It is very easy to fold up and out without assistance. The pockets are handy, but a little bit shallow if you're using a large shampoo bottle. Because this shower is hooked up to a sump pump, I used a sink wire drain strainer on the inside, and a wire kitchen strainer under the drain hose. The sink strainer did a great job collecting hair, but would also cause about a half inch to an inch of water to collect until we turn the water off. There is a course strainer that is part of the drain, and it caught quite a bit of hair. The big problem was that the dogs kept stepping on the drain and flipping up the wire strainer I had added. I might take that out in the future. Between the two, there was barely any hair that made it into the bottom strainer which was a complete surprise to me. Since the tub is angled down, you have a bit of water that collects on the drain side of the tub. Not a big deal and you can easily lean the tub to finish draining. It comes with two drain hoses that give you plenty of length if you want to clean them straddling the tub or outside of the tub into another drain. After a lot of research and comparison, it was worth waiting for this one to come on sale. The quality and convenience are there. Inside the waterproof tub are hard plates on both side to give your pup stability and it leans on the metal frame making this incredibly stable. We did not notice any wobbling during the entire bath for both dogs. Bounce will probably become more frequent which will be great for our chiweenie who has a little bit itchy skin, and our fluffball Pomeranian who were using deshedding shampoo on. Spend once, and get it right the first time.
