Excellent fit, great looks.
I had a diamond plate tailgate cover on my last F250 and I loved it. I wanted one for my 2009 Super Duty. The fit is perfect, so much so that it has the contoured cut on the top of it to correspond to the top of the Super Duty's tail gate. For those of you who have this, you know what I'm talking about. It uses two existing tailgate screws from the tailgate itself. The holes on the cover matched perfectly. The tape to provide the bottom seal of the cover works great. I installed this in the middle of the winter and it's holding fine. Be sure to use that alcohol pad to give it a good bond. I'm going to pick up the front diamond plate bed cover to match.

It fits fine on an F250
It fits fine on an F250. Looks WAY better than the cheap plastic that was there. Looks even better with the matching rails. The material is somewhat thin. It does not cover over the top rail completely (does not wrap around the opposite side, it is a 90 degree bend that covers the top rail about 3/4 of the way.

The product got returned by the usps. To big for the P.O. Box shipper is a joke

Longevity
Been on my pickup just over 2 years and is not shiny any more. The lip that covers the top of tailgate has bent up, and coming loose because the two sided tape has let go a year after installation. If it wasn't for the two screws, it would already be in the landfill. This material is thin and cannot take abuse. Yes, I actually use the bed of my truck.

Looks good but very thin.
Good fit but the metal is very thin and the alloy is very soft. The cover will dent with even the slightest point pressure. I deformed it in several places with my knees. But it looks good and protects the steel tailgate.

Product arrived in a beat up box with no hardware or instructions...Also the corner was bent. I'm assuming this was the fault of the postal carrier, other wise it did fit and look fine after I straightened it out

Doesn't cover over top-front-edge of tailgate
I like the checker plate aluminum material of this product. I didn't like how it didn't cover the top front outside edge of my tailgate. This left 2 square holes exposed and the old worn line in the paint from the stock plastic cover that had blown off my truck (2008 F350). If you still have the stock plastic tailgate top edge cap this may not be an issue if you leave it on and install this Dee Zee product over top. I found an old chrome tailgate top edge cap off my dads old Chevy truck in the shop and modified this piece to fit under this Dee Zee product. It looks good now, but only because I had this extra cap laying around to use. I would look for a different product that covered completely if I was purchasing again. It would only take a couple extra inches of product and 1 extra bend for Dee Zee to make this an perfect fit. Just lazy design in my opinion. I hope this helps anybody looking at how this may fit their truck. Dustin
