Yes, it does. It's cumbersome to use, but so is setting the time, but you just press the mode button, it will show the date. Press it again and it goes to timer. You can set the seconds, minutes, then hours, but once it starts, I couldn't figure out how to abort, and had to reset it, and redo setting the time... So, it's just not worth the hassle.
