Amazing!! Will be buying more!
This is absolutely a game changer! My parents put this in their garage. It is great. It was full of dead bugs. They have to keep emptying it out because it gets so full. It's easy to take out the bottom to dump the bugs. Day or night I here it zapping bugs. It draws the bugs in great and kills them! It is none to bright but just enough to draw them in to zap them. They have this placed in their garage but I'm sure you could place this under a shelter and it would work great. Also a barn would be a good place to have one as well if you're fighting bugs. Definitely easy to use. My parents are in the 70s and knew how to work this.

Long Lasting Bulb!
I've had this since May 2024 and I've used it every day since (sometimes let it run overnight) and the bulb just now ran out on 03/29/2026. Since I live in Texas and unfortunately in an apartment where neighbors constantly go in and out I have to deal with a constant supply of fresh gnats coming through the vents. They drive me insane and I LOVE hearing that zap. I bought another brand and put in another room and I never hear that zap which is very disappointing since I'm unsure it works. They look similar but this one seems to work better.

Every insect gets toasted with this lamp!
I am surprised of how great this lamp is! The insects go into it it just toast them! I find big flies and a little mosquitoes dead all around the lamp! Plus, they fall inside the lamp! In the winter I bring my plants inside and of course, the mosquitoes grow and I need to deal with that problem but this lamp helps a lot! I recommend this product!

Great! Short cord though
I got this for a fungus gnat problem I have been dealing with my plants. I love that you just empty the tray and continue to use it. No having to replace sticky traps. My dog doesn't like it but she's accepted the popping noise somewhat over time. Works wonderfully

They’re okay
I bought two. Continuous use, never unplugged, only light bug activity and one died after 8 months. Otherwise they worked as expected.

Zap those buggers!
It’s the most affordable but you get the money’s worth. It’s been a few months now and I haven’t been having as many flying insects. The trap holding the insects would get fuller than I could ever imagine so it works nicely. The light is a nice nightlight to have at night. It works best when the lights are off in the room. The only negatives are that the sound of the zapper can be loud at first when you’re not used to it and the cord is pretty short.

Works great
I've had this zapper for over a year now from Amazon so I feel I can comment a bit. Still working great! I do not have it plugged in constantly but will have it on for days at a time when for example there may be fungus gnats around due to overwatering plants. That said, I never really have a major flying insect problem, but I have heard it zap here and there when it does its thing. I have never used this outdoors so I have no idea how it would hold up exposed to the outdoors. I mostly agree with what I am reading in the AI summary (nicely implemented btw, kudos Amazon.) Of note: Ease of cleaning - definitely. I find it easy to unscrew the plastic bottom tray over a trash can and done. There has only ever been a little debris in there so in my experience it has not been gross. In addition to emptying the tray here and there I would recommend the occasional blast of air from a rubber rocket blower or whatever you prefer just to ensure no dust buildup. Noise level - it is completely silent except for the occasional zap. In my experience, this is like once or twice a day when plugged in. It can be a bit startling, but I do not think it is excessively loud, and I like that feedback that it is working. Brightness - it is on the bright side with the lights out but not with the lights on. I'd imagine it works better in a dark room. I wouldn't sleep in the same room with it unless you are tolerant to light and zaps or wear earplugs / sleep mask. My kill-a-watt P3 device tells methis is using 12W. Cord length – AI summary flagged this. My guess is this is intentional as tripping over the cable may damage the unit or you might fall. I've seen these short cables in other devices as a safety measure. I have never used an extension cord. I will position it near an outlet elevated on a chair or even the counter. I'd follow all manufacturer instructions regarding this and everything else about it. Lastly, while the zapping element appears to be just a bulb protected by a cage. I wouldn't go poking around it with it turned on. No where near water, children, pets etc. Just follow the manufacturer guidelines. Anyway, works great and I can def. recommend it. I do not love insects but hate to zap them. I only pull this out when they cross into the pest-zone and if you have ever had gnats, you know what I mean. Recommended!

Works but not Consistently
I really liked this zapper at first. Indoor/Outdoor is great. Heard it working, zapping knats and mosquitoes that gets inside the apartment when we open the door. I didn't use it right away at first as there was no insect problem. Waited 8 months and began using it. Worked great out of the box after 8 months sitting. I would plug it in/on and out/off through the day and then I just left it on continuously for about 3 weeks. Unplugged it and went in vacation. Just came back after 10 days and plugged it back in. It no longer turns on. Not sure what to make of it but it doesn't last long. Shame because it worked well prior to failure. Took a pic of it not on for this review and tried one last time to plug it in to see if it would work - and it turned on! This is why it gets 3 stars, not 2. But I can't say this is reliable if it does that. I need a reliable product that I know will work if I need to take it with me to go camping.

The Ultimate Mosquito Defense for the Backyard
I bought this primarily for our outdoor garden and seating area, and it has dramatically cut down on our bug problem. It's a heavy-duty solution that delivers on its promises. ✅ What I Loved: High Voltage: At 4200V, bugs don't just get stuck they are eliminated instantly. Versatility: The extra-long cord and hanging loop make it very easy to position away from where people are sitting (which is key to drawing bugs away from you). Bright UV Light: The bulb is incredibly bright at night, pulling insects in from across the yard. ❌ Things to Note: The zap can be quite loud when it catches a larger insect, but that just means it's working! Keep it clean weekly to maintain the best grid efficiency. Final Thoughts: An excellent investment for summer nights. It's durable, powerful, and keeps our backyard comfortable again. 5 stars.
