In hindsight, I'm not sure that such a great idea. In any event, there are HDMI cables routed from the closet via the walls to two different TV sets, meaning if you want to use something like a Roku or Apple TV you need one for each set unless you set it up for one of the TVs in the closet. This little device lets you set it up in the closet, and then switch between the TVs with the press of a button.
