Wonderful imagery, you should see her Tarot cards

I hardly know where to begin, because Michele-lee Phelan's artwork leaves me speechless! She prevails in both skill and spirit where many other fantasy artists fall short. Look into the eyes of any of her creations and you will find the depth and personality of a unique, living being. My imagination travels to new worlds and possibilities when I gaze at her paintings. Her color choices are inspired, and are so evocative of the whole attitude of each piece. My personal favorites are "The Priestess" and "The Empress." The dragonkin she has created have such a unique look. I could easily see stories of this race and their culture being explored in a series of novels!The format of this book is exquisite; each page is laid out in an attractive manner, and the quality of the reproductions of Miss Phelan's artwork could not be finer. A walk through of her painting process is described for the piece "The Gift," and it's very impressive to see the various stages of completion. I enjoyed the interview section, where she talks about her beginnings and her inspiration. Miss Phelan also proves in this book that she is a capable poet. All of the verse she wrote to accompany her artwork increased my enjoyment of it. The spirituality comes across in a very pleasing and honest way, and it struck a personal chord with me.I only recently discovered Michele-lee Phelan's work and you can certainly tell that I'm a huge fan! You won't be disappointed if you purchase this book!

Love the book. Beautiful art. Michele- lee Phelan is quite the artist. Do yourself a favor and buy this book. It's well worth the price.

I discovered Ravynne's work through her Oracle cards and some of the pictures from the cards are in the book. There is lovely poetry and a couple of stories complementing some of the art and the book is bound with a kind of padded hardback cover. I love her work for the detail and it is a book I will go back to every so often to admire.
