Ninja Precision Electric Kettle, 7-Cup, Rapid Boil, Stainless, KT200

The Ninja KT200 has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. Just like all my Ninja products. The precision temperature control is incredibly accurate — whether I’m making coffee, tea, or instant meals, I can heat water to the exact temperature I want without guessing. It’s a huge upgrade from basic kettles that only boil. The 1500‑watt power makes it heat up fast, and the stainless steel build feels solid and premium. The 7‑cup capacity is perfect for daily use, and I never feel like I’m constantly refilling it. I also appreciate that it’s BPA‑free, which gives me peace of mind when using it multiple times a day. The kettle pours smoothly with no dripping, and the handle stays cool even when the water is boiling. The base is stable, the controls are intuitive, and the overall design looks great on the counter. If you want a reliable, fast, and precise electric kettle that feels built to last, the Ninja KT200 is an excellent choice.

The headline summarizes my initial experience with this kettle. I tested the displayed temperature using a ThermaPro Dot, and found essentially no difference other than a small time lag when the water was heating or cooling. (Which I don't find surprising or concerning; this isn't a lab instrument.) I drink coffee I prepare in a coffee press, and I find that I like the coffee much better if I use water at 200 deg. My family also drinks various kinds of tea, ranging from black teas that we like to prepare using water at the boil, as well as various green and herbal teas that ideally want cooler temperatures. This kettle meets all those needs, and allows us to get the water to the desired temperature and avoid guesswork. My somewhat minor criticisms are: (1) It would have been better to have separate displays for the target and current temps, having the one display do both jobs makes it confusing sometimes. (2) The buttons for the various presets should really show the target temp, not beverage labels. Or maybe show both. (3) The little plastic doohickey inside to show the water level, and the plastic-enclosed strainer that sits in it, are both unnecessary. Fortunately they're not hard to remove, although that does leave a big open spout that you have to be careful about when pouring. (The water level shows quite clearly from outside on the back.) Overall I'm happy with this product, and recommend it if you're fussy about getting the water temp right for your hot beverages. I think the price is quite reasonable, especially when compared with other kettles that have preset target temps and current temp display.

I wouldn't spend $80 on a kettle, but this appliance is different. I've had great luck with Ninja products in the past and I wanted an electric kettle that would give me exact control over the temperature of the water. I don't drink coffee, but have tea occasionally. I got this because I needed warm water for bread making. 115 degree water to be specific. I did the microwave water warming and it was either too high or too low. If the water is too hot, it will kill the yeast. With this kettle, I get the right temperature every time. It has worked fantastic every time I use it. This electric kettle is easy to operate, with intuitive controls. It heats quickly and has made bread making much easier and allows me to focus on other task while it reaches the required temperature. There are probably cheaper competitor models that do the same thing, but at the time I found this, it was what I needed exactly the way I needed it. Plus it is a quality product. I got a good one. I also got a discount when I purchased it, so I am happy, regardless of the price. If you need your tea water at a precise temperature, this kettle will do it. If you need it for anything else that includes warm or hot water, it will definitely fit the bill.

UPDATE 6/12/24: My original title to this review was, "Why did I wait so long to go electric?" Now, my answer is...I think I know. When you get up in the morning and want a cup of hot tea...and the button no longer works reliably...it's annoying. We literally have to press the on/off button multiple times for it to "catch" and start the water boiling. Granted, it was great for the15 months we've had it. Now, it's just ANNOYING and aggravating. I'm debating on whether it's worth it to buy another one...only because I wonder if this is just an anomaly. Sigh. Why do these electronic things have to be made so poorly? We can't make something that lasts longer than 15 months? This is why we have so much trash piling up all over the world. OLD REVIEW 3/24: Seems that every stove top kettle rusts unless you spend $200+ on one. So, after trying to find a reasonably priced, aesthetically pleasing one that doesn't have issues or rust, I gave up. The reviews for this kettle were great so, I pulled the trigger. I couldn't be happier that I did. It is super easy to set up, boils consistently, looks great and it's easy to clean. I like that I've opened up more space on my stove because I can set this kettle on a table in the kitchen nook. I like this kettle so much, I bought one for my Dad for his birthday. The only thing I don't get is why the BLUE one is more expensive than the GREY one. They are the same thing but different color.

The Ninja KT200 Precision Temperature Electric Kettle is great! Heats up fast and gets me to my pour-over coffee or cup of tea quickly and with temperature precision. Here's the pros and cons for me: Pros: - Heats up fast and boils water quickly! - The controls on the base unit are simple and easy to use. - Easy temperature settings for different types of tea or coffee - The lid opens wide for easy cleaning when needed - With daily use (over 6 months) NO rust spots - Stylish and looks good in any kitchen - Fill gauge is easy to read for the amount of water you want to heat up. - Handle stays cool to touch after heating up water. - Temperature hold feature works great, so I don't have to run for the kettle immediately. Cons: - Kettle body get quite hot after boiling water, but again, handle does stay cool. Having tried other brands of kettles that didn't last or left me underwhelmed this has been the Ninja kettle has been the one that checks all the boxes and has been a great addition to our kitchen.

Works perfectly over the years, but it starts leaking from the handlebar. Wish they didnt have that outside component that you can view how much water is inside. Then this would be a 10/10 product, but for now I'll give it a 7/10.

I never thought 212°F could be achieved so quickly. I love this item no more of those old-fashioned kettles that whistle. I bought this product for myself and I love it. I use it every day sometimes several times a day it was money well spent and ninja is a great name. I have so many of their products and I will continue buying them because they are a great quality. The look of the item is nice and clean stainless steel it is so easy to keep clean and maintain and it’s taken a couple of dings, but not any marks left on it.

Would definitely recommend!

The kettle looks good and the reviews I read are great. However I bought this for my parents for Christmas, didn’t think of checking in the box…. Sadly it came with a US plug not UK. Technically this is not a proper review as it’s not able to be used! Rather disappointed, will be returning, but unable to replace this as currently unavailable. So for the plug issue I am giving only 2 stars!

Padrisima me encanto, muy util se apaga sola. Le usamos muucho en casa. No huele a plastico quemado como otras. El acero inoxidable de excelente calidad. Es programable para el tipo de temperatura que deseas.
