Good read from a journalist who is a major Cubs fan!
Overall I thought this was a good read. Started off well to keep the reader into it and each chapter gives a good overview leading towards the main portion of the book. There were a few times that the same information was mentioned 'verbatim' on separate chapters.

Plan to Read This Book
If you are a Chicago Cubs or a baseball fan then you've got to have this book. Easy read. If you're familiar with David Kaplan on CSN-Chicago or his pod casts, then you'll appreciate the factual approach of his writing. The book is not all Ra-Ra Cubs. It brought back memories of the early disappointments in the rebuilding of the Cubs into the champions they became.A MUST for any Cub or even baseball fan.

A Must-Read for Cub Fans
If you're a Cubs fan, this is a must read. Great insight into retooling the organization, the team, the business, and the mindset. A very inspiring story of having a vision and putting a plan in place to make it happen.

If you are a Cubs fans (or not)....
This is a must read book about how the current Cubs management built this team to win the championship. Being a lifelong Red Sox fan, it was interesting to see how Theo built the Cubs organization up so that they could end their long World Series drought. Congrats to all Cubbie fans.

Audacious, yes. Insightful, no.
Lite on substance, several typos, and desperately in need of some journalistic refinement. This book read like it was slapped together in a hurry and failed to deliver substantive, insightful information that I was hoping to find in its pages. A story for the ages deserves better.

Kaplan reveals the decisions, moves and magic that ended the longest drought in sports history
The Plan gives readers a behind-the-curtain look at all that led up to the Cubs’ 2016 World Series Championship. I really enjoyed reliving the dramatic moments of that postseason. A must read for any die-hard Cubs fan.

Decent read
Somewhat redundant having read the Cubs way. The details on Boras being Boras in regards to them sending Bryant down to AAA was good stuff. Boras does indignant with flair. Some solid quotes and excerpts from the main participants give the read heightened value.
